juniorganymedian: (a slight miscalculation)
[Jeeves doesn't particularly want to be seen at the moment as he's looking a little haggard. The nightmares he'd assured Luna were no problem have become problematic now that it would seem he's having different ones from the recurring one they'd had before the fight with the mare Nightmare in Ponyville. He'd never intended to actually call upon the Princess of Dreams, but he would be foolish to ignore her as a resource in this instance. It's very early morning - most would call it still night - when he contacts her.]

My apologies for any interruption to your regular duties, Your Royal Highness, but I wish to request an audience with you. Would you be available to meet at the top of the clock tower in Twilight Town sometime today?
juniorganymedian: (give me patience)
[When the visual starts, Jeeves is standing in his hotel room looking, for him, mildly perturbed, but for most would appear to be vaguely curious. Descartes is eating an ice cream cone on the desk in the background. Jeeves had wanted to ensure the bat would be occupied. He places his hand to his heart and bows.]

Your Royal Highness, I wished to thank you once more for your assistance with the individual resembling Young Master Riku. In my review of the communicator archives, I came across several references to replicas of him that are the result of Mr. Even's experimentation while he was a member of a group called Organization XIII. [The real Riku had been particularly vociferous in lambasting the man for his follies.

And now for the more delicate topic.]
Additional review of the previous communications also provided a most illuminating look into the nature and expanse of the many and varied forms of magicks and technologies persons from different worlds have access to. I understand you have the ability to walk the dreams of others and aid them in your capacity as Princess of the Night. I would humbly request an exemption from such monitoring.
juniorganymedian: (most disturbing)
[The quick, light breaths coming from the audio indicate that the person speaking is performing some form of physical exertion.]

My apologies for any brusqueness, but I require the assistance of a healer immediately. I have just witnessed a person leaping from the edge of the tower in the Fourth District of Traverse Town. I do not know if they could have survived a fall from such a height, but if they have, I suspect my own first aid knowledge and potion will be insufficient to provide adequate care for such traumatic injuries. I am making all due haste to the area at this moment. Thank you for your attention.
juniorganymedian: (so not amused)
Good day, my name is Jeeves. I am given to understand this device has some extraordinary broadcasting ability akin to a radio or television, but with multi-way communicative properties. I have been here only a short time and require some assistance, for which I will gladly work in trade.

I have created one of the creatures known as a spirit. I have been led to believe that the animal serves some useful function as protection in this realm against nightmares of a similar build, but alternate coloration. The Komory Bat now in my possession defies all training and disciplinary methods with which I am familiar for service animals. I would deeply appreciate some instruction on their care and control. It has taken to fluttering around me in a highly distracting way. Thank you.

I have also been informed this device has some archival function. If it may be accessed readily, I should like to know how.

[The video flickers on to show both Wash and North in what looks like one of the hotel rooms. It’s far enough away that it’s obvious they’ve set it up on a flat surface somewhere. Wash is still wearing his helmet; old habits die very hard.]

Hey. Does anyone know anything about these Dream Eater things? We know they can fight and that you can make them from little rainbow pieces; aside from that, I’ve got nothing.

[There’s a squeak from offscreen, and Wash looks over-] Hey, get over here. [-and leans out of the frame.]

[North, meanwhile, has his helmet off, because all things considered, this area’s probably safe and he can let his guard down a bit. ]

Also, do they all carry loose change or something? It’s an odd way of making money.

[He glances over at Wash.]

Everything alright, Wash?

Yeah, fine, just- c’mere!

[There’s more squeaking offscreen, and finally Wash leans back into the frame, pulling his bat into his lap. The bat squeaks piteously, and it’s pretty obvious that one wing is bandaged.]

Is there a vet around here, or someone who knows how to take care of this? [He gestures at the bandage.] I can do this much, but that’s about it.

[Responses will come from both Wash ([personal profile] unrecovered) and North ([personal profile] brodakota).]
