Though he’s generally familiar with Traverse Town (and may be a familiar face to some of those already present), he takes a moment to carefully choose his words before he speaks. First impressions are important, after all, and more so in somewhere relatively unknown.]

I would be interested in knowing more about this realm. The moogles have already mentioned the Nightmares; is there anything else I should be aware of?

In addition, I would like to offer my services in dealing with the same, should anyone have need of such things.

[Dream Eaters or no, he knows better than to assume everyone is willing to get into combat, and if his strength can offer something of a shield, surely that’s better than nothing.]

[There's a moment of silence as the viewpoint of the communicator shifts to catch a good look at the plaza in the first district. He hasn't had much time to really go anywhere.]

There is a hotel in which thou may stay, and a tea shop run by one of our number - a human named Ienzo - if thou requires sustenance. 'Tis quite good fare. Also, there is no sun and no weather, a matter we hath been unable to correct.

[And just like that his communicator is off and he is off to the first district. It takes him a while given the number of dream eaters between here and there, but he does it with rather ruthless efficiency; hopefully no one actually sees him. He's a bit mussed when he shows up at any rate.]

[There's a soft sort of smile, as he heads over towards Ienzo. That he's a little mussed is simply to be expected, given that he seems to have come from another district. The Meow Wow that had been bouncing around his feet, meanwhile, makes its way over to say hello to Ienzo's spirit in turn.]

Hey, welcome to town. I'm York; it's good to meet you. So far the only nasties we've run into are the nightmares, and they aren't too tough.

[Delta blinks into view next to York.]

I am Delta, York's partner. While most people seem capable of taking care of themselves, everyone has thus far been willing to look after those who are not. Two people who have a greater level of familiarity with dream eaters wrote a guide about dealing with them; I will include a link to that network post here. In addition, I will send along a map that York and I have made that indicates areas of heavy nightmare activity. Please be aware that nightmares may attack outside these points, but the marked areas indicate large groups.
