And could anyone tell me what this weird...thing is that's following me? I don't think it's a spirit but I'm not really sure at this point.

Bolin was here...but I don't think he is anymore. I haven't seen him around.

Oh, and the lizard is a Hebby Repp - they're a type of Spirit. That one in particular will be very loyal to you while you're here. Watch out for the Nightmares, though - they can be dangerous.

His smile is trying for apologetic, and he rubs the back of his head while he's talking; he looks a little disheveled and a little sleep deprived, but is just a little cleaner than your average hobo.]

You're asleep, we don't know how we got here or how to wake up, etcetera, etcetera. [a dismissive hand wave] Seriously, don't lose sleep over it.

That thing is a "Dream Eater" and it is codependent and clingy and you will not be able to shake it, so make friends. It'll come in handy.
