[Korra really has no idea what she's supposed to be doing with this thing. Sure, Republic City was a pretty up-to-date place but this was a new little device. Really new.

My name's Korra and I'm not..really sure where I am or how I got here. I'm looking for my friends though--Bolin, Mako, and Asami. I...if you guys are here too, let me know? Or come find me.

[The weak attempt at a smile doesn't work anymore and she looks around, peering at something out of sight of the camera, an odd look on her face after a second. She then turns some and a Hebby Repp can be seen.]

And could anyone tell me what this weird...thing is that's following me? I don't think it's a spirit but I'm not really sure at this point.

I'm glad to hear it! I have many questions, such as how do you balance on only two legs, and why do you all wear clothing at all times?

[Celestia is only teasing, of course; she is perfectly aware that humans have curved spines and clothing is just a thing they do. But this discussion might have been getting a shade too serious.]

Very carefully and to keep warm a lot of the time, since humans are a little lacking on the natural warmth side of things.

[Korra grins a bit and she very much appreciates the lightening of the mood, even if she doesn't realize Celestia is already aware of the answers.]

[Celestia laughs brightly.] You were much less flustered by that question than some I could name.

Perhaps, but I do have some propriety. Besides, it is obvious that humans and ponies are essentially the same beneath the outermost surfaces, so I have yet to be too confused or surprised by anything you do.

Still, being a pony is going to be really weird at first.

You needn't fear offending me. It really must be, I can only imagine! But I think you will find it pleasant, if you let yourself.

Just... be careful when you step through the portal. Walking has challenged many new ponies, and if you do prove, against my expectations, to be a pegasus, you may find certain wing reflexes causing you trouble in turn...

I...really just need to figure this place out I guess. Find a place to stay, like Sora suggested, and get my bearings from there. He said I could stay in the hotel for now but it'd probably be a good idea to find another place soon.

Yes, that would be the best thing. I was fortunate to find lodging with my sister here quickly. You might consider how many Spirits you wish to recruit to your aid in choosing a place, though... and how large they might be.

That's something I still don't get! These things-- [She motions to Hebby Repp.] --in general. Where do they come from?

They are created from Figments and Fancies, left behind when Nightmares are defeated. The Moogles can help you learn how assemble these pieces into a Spirit, if you have the proper ones.

[Celestia pushes the communicator back a little with her magic, the better to show, off in the distance, a Thunderaffe crashing around in the background of the Ponyville Town Square at speed.]

Hero, here, is a Thunderaffe. One of my subjects, Pinkie Pie, created a Dream Eater the size of a bus from parts she won as a prize in a throwing game manned by a Moogle.
