[On the screen is a relatively new face. North has decided to check out Ponyville and this is the result. A purple unicorn with a green mane. He looks a little bewildered at the change, less because he's a unicorn and more because his AI is suddenly a baby dragon and that's really weird. Maybe a cause for concern. But he has bigger worries at the moment.]

Anyone want to explain what the trick to walking on all fours is? I don't think I've got the hang of it yet.

[OOC: This post has a variety of options. There's the video option, and several action options: You can mean North and Theta together and teach him to walk (A), Meet North on his own after he's mostly figured it out and had a chance to practice (B), or meet Theta on his own as North decided to rest a bit and ended up falling asleep and Theta wanted to play. How long does it take your young to learn to walk?

Usually about a year, year and a half. Usually we learn to crawl first.

...that is very long. Ponies can typically walk very shortly after birth - pegasi and unicorns even experience a brief magical surge. I am surprised your species was not devoured in its infancy.

We're a pretty tenacious species, Luna. One day you might have to walk a mile in our shoes.

'Tis no trouble. [She leans forward, watching him with some interest. How often do you get to watch a human learn to walk quadrapedally?] I suppose I shall have to teach you the basics of magic as well. It will make things easier, I cannot imagine humans would do well without their hands.

I do miss having thumbs and fingers already. Learning magic would be good since I don't really think I have any other way to defend myself.

[He takes a few uneasy steps before stopping. God this is weird.]

Unicorns are physically weaker than earth ponies, on average, so that would be the best method. Combat magic is not often taught in Equestria any longer, but this place has many more threats - and luckily, Celestia and I are perfectly capable of such teachings.

If I promise to use it responsibly, will you teach me?

That will be acceptable. I would ask that you not attempt to teach it to the others, however, at least not until one of us deems that you have learned it sufficiently. 'Tis not the kind of magic that should be half-learned.

Your horn is rather longer than the average unicorn's. Perhaps it is making you top-heavy?
