Jail Break! (Action/Video)
[So, with Ziva gone, Fluffy and Abby have been in Wash's care. But, that doesn't mean the behave. They break out at least once a day to try to find Ziva. Why no, she totally didn't teach them how to pick locks. This time is slightly different though.
They brought Ziva's comm with them.
It's currently in Fluffy's possession, and he's in flight somewhere in Traverse Town. Every once in a while, Abby can be seen on the ground in the lens of the comm. They're talking back and forth to each other, mostly Where haven't we looked? and Hey! Over there!.
Then, there's the sound of gunfire off in the distance. Their person had a gun! And it sounded kind of like that sometimes. So, immediate direction change and off they go that way. The comm is tossed down to Abby and she catches it as he lands on her head, taking a break from flying for a moment.
The camera shows a glimpse of someone, in armor...some not-so-blue shade of blue, but not enough to show who it may be. Just...it's not who they were looking for.]

[She always did have a unique perspective when it came to 'challenging'.
Having your own personal space was never a bad thing. Own quarters, same builing - not all that different from a barracks situation, save the beds were probably more comfy.]
At least it isn't difficult to find. The numbered districts seem easy to travel between, too.

They are, once you get the layout. I think York and Delta made a map of the area, so you should ask them. Also shows where the nightmares hang out.
no subject
Really? That does sound useful. I'll ask Delta about that later.
[After York had gotten some sleep, at least. And she'd gotten some rest. ...This was totally resting, by the way.]

[ Her weight shifts, head canting to one side. ]
Given this is, supposedly, a dream, I'm still not sure how he and Theta are here. They don't sleep.
no subject
[But thinking back to somewhat recent events.]
It might have something to do with the fact that they're implanted directly into us. We share thoughts, so it would make sense to share dreams as well.
no subject
I'd imagine he's been pretty useful with fighting the Nightmares.
That does make sense. So I'm guessing he sees and remembers what you dream here, too?
[ Dreaming within a dream. Did she really just think that. Carolina's hand lifts to her helmet, as though to forestall the headache this entire setup is threatening to brew for her. ]

[Theta sort of brightens at this, and then dims at Carolina's next comment.]
Yeah, he does.
[He doesn't really want to get into how much trouble that caused.]
Don't try to think about it too much. This whole place is weird so it's better to just go with it.
no subject
There's a frank stare, then a genuine, if slightly hoarse chuckle. ]
Weird is putting it mildly.
I should probably head back to the hotel before something else decides to greet me.
[ or that obnoxious night mare comes back. ]

She stiffens at his request, before common sense reasserts itself, and Carolina nods agreement. This is North, after all. ]
I don't mind. I'm still getting familiar with the layout of this place.
no subject
Right, then let's get out of this back street and onto the main one. It's a bit easier to figure things out from there.
no subject
All right. Lead the way.
Do these streets lead anywhere else?
[ They certainly seem pretty extensive, and the town seemed rather large when she got a partial view from one of the roof tops. ]

[ The question "Why Us?" definitely springs to mind. ]
I know the hotel is in the 2nd district. Anything significant in one of the others?
no subject
The fifth district has a greenhouse, but a giant monkey also appeared there so I don't know what it's status is.
[That was said entirely with a straight face. Not that one can tell]
no subject
Her head definitely snaps to him with a very audible "..." at the mention of a giant monkey, though. Had she not met a flying unicorn princess, as well as all of these colourful critters, that might have been less believable. ]
A giant monkey.
[ ..Still questionable, though. ]
no subject
[He always manages to miss the giant nightmares.]

The man had had enough mental issues before disguising himself amongst the sim-soldiers or ending up here, Carolina wasn't sure she needed to add to that. (Or maybe she did. It'd depend on her mood later.) ]
..I'll think about it.
Certainly sounds lively, for an empty town.

Oh North. No one is trustworthy, except possibly you. ]
In that case, anyone I should know on sight that's worth knowing?
