Jail Break! (Action/Video)

[So, with Ziva gone, Fluffy and Abby have been in Wash's care. But, that doesn't mean the behave. They break out at least once a day to try to find Ziva. Why no, she totally didn't teach them how to pick locks. This time is slightly different though.

They brought Ziva's comm with them.

It's currently in Fluffy's possession, and he's in flight somewhere in Traverse Town. Every once in a while, Abby can be seen on the ground in the lens of the comm. They're talking back and forth to each other, mostly Where haven't we looked? and Hey! Over there!.

Then, there's the sound of gunfire off in the distance. Their person had a gun! And it sounded kind of like that sometimes. So, immediate direction change and off they go that way. The comm is tossed down to Abby and she catches it as he lands on her head, taking a break from flying for a moment.

The camera shows a glimpse of someone, in armor...some not-so-blue shade of blue, but not enough to show who it may be. Just...it's not who they were looking for.]

And 'why' would be the million dollar question, no doubt.

Sounds exciting. [ She's not being sarcastic. ..Is she? It's always been a little hard to tell sometimes. ] What do you do for fun around here, then?

[brodakota]

Usually I just go for walks, fight nightmares, play with the spirits, talk to people.

It's a bit hard, adjusting to all this free time. I don't mind the trips for ice cream though.

[guerriera]

[ Her helmet tips to one side, evidently perturbed by the thought of downtime. Still...Did she hear that right? ]

Ice cream.

[ She hasn't had that in years. Not the sort of contraband that could be safely smuggled onto the MoI back in the day, either. ]

...One hell of a dream we've got here...

[brodakota]

I know. It sounds crazy, but it's true.

I'll take you out for some, sometime. If you want.

[guerriera]

North, everything 'normal' around here sounds crazy. I'd hate to see what counts as weird.

I'll pass for now. [A faint pause] But, thank you.

[brodakota]

[North nods. He knows the feeling, and is still confused on how he's starting to rationalize it all.]

Sure thing. It seems we've got a lot of time here.

[guerriera]

[ Sometimes, you are just a little too well adjusted, North. On the other hand, when faced with bend or break.. ]

[murmured] That's what I'm afraid of..

I think I recognise those doors. The hotel's through that way, right?

[brodakota]

[North took adjusting to strange worlds over remaining the only sane many.]

Yeah, you got it. Were you here earlier?

[guerriera]

[ Sanity is clearly an overrated commodity around here. ]

Few hours back. York showed me the way, but I wasn't paying full attention.

[ Which doesn't sound like Carolina at all. Save that her attention was a little more fixated on the dead friend showing her around than anything else. ]

I got a bit turned around exploring, so this helps.

[brodakota]

[North gets it, considering what he knows about both York's and Carolina's situation.]

Glad I could help then. I'll make sure York gets you a map. It really does help.

[guerriera]

[ How much do people here seem to know about her situation? ..Something to ask about later, perhaps. Carolina does appreciate that North doesn't attempt to pry, though. ]

[ It's been too long since someone offered to do something, rather than have her order it. Mostly her fault. But the fact North still offers catches her offguard. ]

..Every little helps when it comes to surroundings like these. Thank you.

[Well, North knows/figured out that York and Carolina had a thing, and he also knows that York is dead and probably happy to see Carolina. That is the extent of his knowledge. He still won't pry though. That's not his style.]

It's the least I can do.

[guerriera]

[Well, there was definitely a thing, though more or less than that was better left to speculation. North won't pry and Carolina won't tell, works out quite well really.]

Heh. So, have you done the guided tour gig here before, then?

[brodakota]

I've mostly been on the tours. Everyone else is keen on showing people around.

[guerriera]

..Can't say I'm not surprised by that.

[ Being overly suspicious has kept her kept her alive this long, after all. ]

[brodakota]

You get used to it. And everyone has been pretty helpful.
