First Collar - Voice (Traverse Town)
I really hate munny. I thought I hated money at home, but I didn't. Not till I found munny, which is so much worse.
Well, I got the Fuzzballs to make me a collapsible baton, which should help me given the cost of bullets is a little too high for my liking. Just all around I do not like having to rely on a cereal box mascot to get enough munny to make it day to day.
I was never one to complain about my salary at home, but I will never let anyone do it again.
...You know, if I get back.
Oh right, why I turned this stupid Dick Tracy watch on.
My name is Casey Shraeger, I'm a New York City Detective from the year 2009. I don't have advanced technology or magic voodoo powers there, I don't like the voodoo powers, and potions taste worse than the coffee my partner makes at his diner.
And I'm so looking forward to getting to know all of you. *BATHE IN THE SARCASM!*

[He won't dignify her denigrating magic with a response.]
Voice
*But not enough to make this place home. It is not New York City*
Voice
[Ienzo sends along a marked map, with the added instructions to go down the left hand stairs if Shraeger is coming from the fountain plaza; the right hand ones have nightmares all over.]

[Either about coffee or tea. It's rather pleasant to be making people happy, even if it is a business.]

Hi Casey. My name is Ziva David, from Washington DC in 2012... I work with NCIS there. No powers, no technology, just guns and training... and my cereal box mascots.
[A pause]
Do you think they would be willing to make another of those batons? [You have her interest.]
Voice
Thank God, someone normal. ...Well, as close to normal as you get working in D.C. I'm sure everyone here is very nice, but... you get it right?
*The oh why is there magic and people just blindly accept it thing.*
Probably, the fuzzball wanted me to buy a sword but that felt a bit to Joan of Arc for me. I didn't need to threaten him with my gun to get him to do it, so it shouldn't be too hard to get another one made.
...I have no idea what metal it's made out of, and I really don't want to ask.
Voice
[There's a chuckle.] Oh, I understand. I definitely understand. [She'd like to avoid big magic anymore, if possible.] But, as you will probably see, there is plenty more you will need to get used to here.
Hmmm. I think I may have to ask one of them about another.
Voice
How long have you been here anyway?
Seems more functional than a sword. Or a shield, why was the Moogle pushing a shield like it's a real weapon?
Voice
I have been here...a couple of months, maybe? I have lost track of time, it seems.
[Cue Ziva pausing as she remembers watching Even fight with a shield.] Actually, you may be surprised... I have seen someone fight with one.

*...Okay, more than a moment.*

Hazing? We hath released no haze...

...Nevermind.

*Walked into that.*
