❅2nd Snow Day❅
[The video moves a lot because apparently Jack gave his communicator to Snowball to use. She can only fly so steady clutching the communicator so hope no one gets motion sick. Jack is perched on top of...something, since you can see that he's above ground level but the camera isn't pointed in a way to let you see WHAT he's standing on. He's grinning.]
No one's going to be upset that the fountain is frozen, right? It was sort of unavoidable since I was fighting those Nightmares but, uh, it's not like it's in my power to unfreeze the thing.
[Snowball flies back a bit and we now see Jack is perched on top of the large fountain in the Fountain Plaza near the Fourth District. The whole thing is iced over and frozen, including the streams that shoot up into the fountain from the sides. Jack surveys the scene and then shrugs. Maybe he went a bit over board but it's too late now.]
Oh well, it'll make for a fun slide. Who's game?
[Jack hops over to one of the frozen spouts and slides down on his bare feet with ease, hopping off at the end with a little flourish of his staff. He looks back up to Snowball who is still filming all of this.]
You coming or what?

Yeah, I'll be waiting.

He watched quietly for a moment before smirking to himself. Silently, he launched up into the air and drifted down behind Tidus. The other boy's attention was all on the fountain so Jack was pretty sure he'd managed to come behind him unseen. It'd be hilarious if he managed to make the guy jump.]
DON'T BREAK IT!
[He tried to make it sound urgent and panicked. But he was only kidding. Tidus wasn't going to break the ice that easily.]
no subject
Did I break it?
no subject
Nah. I'm just messing with you.
[Jack stepped forward and slammed his staff against the ice. Instead of cracking the ice actually sparkled and seemed to become just a bit thicker if that was possible.]
See?
no subject
Just like that? Didn't you see it?! It lit up like, like sparkles!
no subject
It does that around me. Part of the magic I guess.
[To demonstrate this he jumped up higher onto the fountain and swept his hand over the ice. It sparkled light blue as the frost coated it and made fern-like patterns on the surface before blending in with the rest of the ice. He looked back down to Tidus.]
See?
no subject
Magic should be used like this more often.
[He tried to jump too, and succeeded, but didn't take the surface of the ice into account. He slipped.]
no subject
Careful. The fountain's not exactly roomy enough to ice skate on.
no subject
What's ice skate?
no subject
You skate and slide across the ice. Usually humans will wear special shoes with blades on the bottom so they can control the glide. There's not room here but it looks a little like this.
[Jack hopped up onto the fountain and started gliding effortlessly across the ice. Shoes or not he was an expert on the ice, at least, most of the time. He couldn't move much of course because of the structure in the middle of the fountain, but he managed to a least do a little turn and face Tidus again.]
no subject
I never heard of shoes like that. But I bet you could go really fast.
[As he talked, he climbed up to the top, viewing the slide before crouching slightly and trying to slide down it.]
no subject
I'll keep an eye out for any and we can try it some other time...that and if we can find a larger body of water because THIS is not going to cut it for ice skating.
[Jack floats behind Tidus and, since he appears to be taking too long, gives him a little extra push.]
no subject
[His thoughts go flying almost as fast as he does.] Whoa--! [Surprise becomes exhiliration, and he's grinning and laughing at the end.]
no subject
[jack's not known for being able to MAKE things so that might be a bit of sarcasm there. He laughs as you go speeding down the slide though.]
no subject
[He runs to the top, eager to do that again. This time, he runs part of the way down before he ends up falling and sliding the rest of the way.]

Catch!
no subject
Hey! I'm usually the one to start snowball fights.
[Oh you have started something Tidus. Jack quickly scoops up some snow and magic seems to occur between his hands as he shapes it into the perfect snowball...and then throws it back at Tidus]
no subject
[The apology is as insincere as it sounds. Tidus watches, trying to figure out how Jack does it. When it occurs to him that he should jump out of the way, it's too late. Hit, he tries making another snowball--not as good as Jack's, but slightly better than the previous one--and tosses it at him.]
no subject
Also, because it's fun, he might even drop a few snowballs for you to use. Free ammo right?
Before too long Jack is standing on top of the fountain with a HUGE snowball in his hands, about the size of a basketball or from Tidus's POV a blitzball. The large snowball is promptly dropped from above and on to his head.]
no subject
He knows what's going to happen when Jack holds a snowball that could rival a blitzball in his hands, but he still doesn't move, dropping his own snowball. There's snow all in his hair, in his eyes, ears--everywhere. He wipes at his eyes a little, beaming and having too much fun to feel cold. He throws some of the snow in Jack's direction, without making it into more snowballs.]
no subject
Yes!
[However that large gathering of snow didn't seem to deter Tidus at all. Jack's not disappointed though, he'd glad to be fighting someone who is determined to keep the snowball fight going.]
no subject
[Tidus points to Jack, standing on top of some snow as if it were a hill.]
But now I come back with...more snow! Snow turning against you!
[To prove his point, he throws a little bit more.]
no subject
[Jack snatches up his staff and swings it through the air. A blast of cold air and snow is coming your way Tidus.]
