[The video moves a lot because apparently Jack gave his communicator to Snowball to use. She can only fly so steady clutching the communicator so hope no one gets motion sick. Jack is perched on top of...something, since you can see that he's above ground level but the camera isn't pointed in a way to let you see WHAT he's standing on. He's grinning.]

No one's going to be upset that the fountain is frozen, right? It was sort of unavoidable since I was fighting those Nightmares but, uh, it's not like it's in my power to unfreeze the thing.

[Snowball flies back a bit and we now see Jack is perched on top of the large fountain in the Fountain Plaza near the Fourth District. The whole thing is iced over and frozen, including the streams that shoot up into the fountain from the sides. Jack surveys the scene and then shrugs. Maybe he went a bit over board but it's too late now.]

Oh well, it'll make for a fun slide. Who's game?

[Jack hops over to one of the frozen spouts and slides down on his bare feet with ease, hopping off at the end with a little flourish of his staff. He looks back up to Snowball who is still filming all of this.]

You coming or what?

Glad someone showed up.

[Jack walks with the ease of someone not afraid of slipping. He's also bare foot but this seems to have no effect.]

The easiest way up is this way. Come on.

[York heads over to follow Jack. Sparky and Max are already sliding across the ice and he pauses to watch them; they seem pretty content, or at least he thinks that Sparky's throwing his head back and dashing around like a maniac means that he's content.]

Lead the way.

[Jack looks back and watches the Spirits sliding around. He laughs, clearly amused by this.]

You bet.

[Jack hops over to the fountain and shows York a ladder Jack had grabbed earlier for people to use while climbing up. Not everyone can fly or jump as high as he can.]

I found this earlier, they use it for maintenance.

[Jack used the wind and hopped up to the top of the icy fountain.]

[York climbed up carefully; he didn't want to slip on the ice. He held his arms out to balance him once he got to the top.]

What were you fighting?

[frostyfuntimes]

Bears.

[Jack doesn't seem worried about falling but, then again, he can fly so why would he.]

But honestly I only froze parts of the fountain during the fight...the rest happened afterwards when I got bored and thought it would be fun to do this instead.

Huh. Well, here goes nothing.

[York takes a step forward to slide down the fountain. It isn't really graceful; his feet go out from under him and he lands on his backside, sliding over the ice. It's pretty fun, though.]

[Jack snorts when York falls on his backside and slides down. Well, not everyone could be as unnaturally graceful as him.

It was still funny. But that didn't mean he was mean.]

You all right?

[York heads straight for the ladder.]

I'm gonna do that until I get it right.

That's the spirit!

Up we go!

[Jack jumped into the air and alighted on top of the fountain again to wait for York.]

York paused at the top, trying to see whether there was a better way to go down. It didn't really look like it.

Let me see how you manage it.

Heh. Little unfair but all right.

[Jack was, after all, a natural around ice and snow. He'd been doing stunts like this for ages. Not to mention he could FLY and was always a little unnaturally light on his feet. It was as though he could take off from the ground at any second.

Jack stepped up to the slide and actually sat down for this particular ride. He was gone in a flash, sliding down the icy slide with a loud whoop of excitement.]

[York laughed and sat to slide down after him; if that guy wasn't going to try it standing, he sure wouldn't.]

Much better.

[That's Jack. Pro-ice sliding coach.]

[York grins; this is definitely fun.]

I think I'll watch tweedledee and tweedledum skate around for a while first.

[York nods towards Sparky and Max, who seem to be enjoying sledding around on the ice. Bumping into things doesn't seem to faze them at all, which is good to see, since they're doing it a lot.]

[frostyfuntimes]

[He laughs when he turns to look. Jack makes a leap over to them, floating above the two as they slip and slide on the ice.]

[Sparky looks up and barks at York and Max bounces in his direction.]
