[The video moves a lot because apparently Jack gave his communicator to Snowball to use. She can only fly so steady clutching the communicator so hope no one gets motion sick. Jack is perched on top of...something, since you can see that he's above ground level but the camera isn't pointed in a way to let you see WHAT he's standing on. He's grinning.]

No one's going to be upset that the fountain is frozen, right? It was sort of unavoidable since I was fighting those Nightmares but, uh, it's not like it's in my power to unfreeze the thing.

[Snowball flies back a bit and we now see Jack is perched on top of the large fountain in the Fountain Plaza near the Fourth District. The whole thing is iced over and frozen, including the streams that shoot up into the fountain from the sides. Jack surveys the scene and then shrugs. Maybe he went a bit over board but it's too late now.]

Oh well, it'll make for a fun slide. Who's game?

[Jack hops over to one of the frozen spouts and slides down on his bare feet with ease, hopping off at the end with a little flourish of his staff. He looks back up to Snowball who is still filming all of this.]

Oh yeah? I wonder if you're older than me...or the other Guardians for that matter.

[Or the Man in the Moon. Of course, he couldn't be sure how old any of the others were. He knew Tooth had said it had been...what 400 something years since she'd been in the field? That wasn't counting time before that so who knew.

He smiled at her laughter]

Oh yeah, you're a natural

We are both several thousands of years old. Discord, the spirit of chaos, may be older still, but nopony has ever seen fit to ask.

[She flies up into the air, looping around for another go on the slide.] Ha! Tia would hate this. She never could bear the cold.

Thousands? [He let out a low whistle. He really did have to wonder if that matched the other Guardians or not.] I've only been around 300 years myself. I've never quite figured out how long the other Guardians have been around.

[Jack flew back up to the top of the slide, getting ready to go again himself.] Discord you say? Sounds a little like Pitch. He's older than the other Guardians, I know that much.

[It was odd how much he kept finding in common...or maybe it was because he just kept looking for similarities so he could relate to the magical alicorn.]

Much longer than a mortal pony, at any rate, though I know of many dragons about thy age. They are a long-lived race.

[Luna pauses in mid-air, considering this.] They...do sound somewhat similar. Discord deals more in madness than darkness, but the results are the same. His rule was a fearful time.

Dragons. There's...you have dragons in your world?

[THAT SOUNDS SO COOL! He'd never seen one before, but a lot of kids were interested in them.]

Fear is what makes Pitch, Pitch. His other name is the Boogeyman after all. Darkness is just one of the fears he exploits.

[Jack isn't sure he should be talking about someone like Pitch in the middle of a dream world though. He pushes himself down the slide.]

Yes. They mostly keep to themselves, though a mare we know has a baby drake acting as her research assistant.

Discord is...chaos, as we have said. He is mercurial, and mostly malicious; to his eyes, other lifeforms are but toys for his amusement. [Luna has no particular fear of talking about Discord; if that was enough to let him out of his statue, they would've found that out centuries ago. This does seem rather dark fare for playing on slides, though...] Boogeyman? Doth he hide under foals' beds?

Huh.

[He tries to picture a dragon in a library but the image is just a little ridiculous in his head. He snorts with laughter.]

Sometimes? Mostly any place that has a dark shadow he can slip into.

[Probably, but here they are.]

[She snorts in amusement.]

Equestria hath some old tales of a Boogeymare who does. No such creature exists, but she features in foals' nightmares from time to time.

[Jack alights back on top of the fountain.]

Well, you never know, you might just not believe in her enough.

[Then again, it might not work that way where she's from.]

Perhaps. [She'd never thought of that, actually.] If she does, she at least doth not cause nightmares of her own accord. We should have happened upon her in that case.

Maybe.

[He nods though. She knows her own world and kingdom better than he does after all.

After a pause he laughs]

Whew. How'd we get off on such a heavy topic anyway? We're supposed to be having fun!

I know not!

[Discord, though frozen in stone, is still someone she'd rather not talk about at length. Foul creature.]
