[Well... It'd been a long day, and he'd been trying to deal with the fallout of a fight with some nightmares earlier. Specifically... The fact that his aim leaves a lot to be desired. Of course a shot just happened to bounce a few times before he managed to hit something. The problem? The hit was actually a bullet clipping his Dream Eater. He'd been trying to make up for it since they finished dealing with the nightmares in question, carrying her back to where they'd been staying after gathering the prizes up from the fight. And now he's got his comm up, recording himself petting an agitated pricklemane with an injured tail.]

Anyone got some suggestions on how to make up to a dream eater for... I guess you could call it friendly fire.

I'm just glad this isn't the real Allison. Otherwise, I'd never hear the end of this.

And Wash, I can do damage. Killed someone in that other body Caboose put me in. [glaring] Your mouth is twitching.

[Allison perks up at the potion and seeing Fang again. The wound really wasn't a big deal. More a shock as it came from Epsilon.]

[Hey, it's a record! That shot against the Meta ricocheted nine times...but that was Alpha. Right.]

[He remembers that body and that laser, and it's a damn good thing Epsilon doesn't still have it.]

Yes, but you're not in that body anymore. [And his track record with this one sucks. Wash does take a moment to try to control the twitching, but...nope, still trying not to smile. Tough.]

[Fang's pretty happy to hear that, and he squeaks at the screen. Yeah, that can be a little weird. He's glad Allison is okay, though!]

[And at least the Meta was an enemy.]

[Wash should be, otherwise he'd have probably been lasered before.]

Shut up, Wash. It means I still can kill something if I have to.

[Allison's make happier noises now. Epsilon isn't very good at fighting. He usually lets her do most of it. He just shoots and misses when he tries helping. She doesn't mind guarding him.]

[He is well aware of that and incredibly grateful for the lack of laserface, okay? Okay.]

I'll believe that when I see it.

[Oh, good! Fang chitters at her conversationally. Just be careful, okay? You don't need to get hurt again!]

[He should be.]

I can. I seriously can. Don't push your luck.

[Allison is planning on it. This hurt too much. That weapon is painful.]

[But it's not going to stop him from being a smartass.]

Epsilon, are you threatening me?

[His tone of voice makes it clear he's not taking Epsilon seriously. At all.]

[Ooh, yeah, Fang's seen the damage that those kinds of weapons can do. Wash is pretty good with his - he's never hit Fang with it, at least.]

Yes. I am. Don't push me.

[Allison agrees. It's not common he hits, but she's seen that too.]

[He puts a hand over his mouth. It's pretty obvious he's grinning like an idiot behind it, but at least he's trying not to show it. Thank you, Epsilon, for saying the funniest thing he's heard all day.]

Okay.

[Riiiiiiiiight. Suuuuuuuuuure.]

[Well, at least he doesn't hit Allison! ...often! ...right?]

[First time he'd hit Allison. Only time, actually. It usually hits terrain. Or once in a while, a nightmare.]
