[There's a large finger poking at the wrist watch, connected to it is a boy who looks about 16. He stops after a few minutes and just tilts his head to the side. He has large green eyes and his thick eyebrows are furrowed in confusion] Okay I think I get the gist of all this based on what that moogle thing told me...but I still have to say it's pretty weird. Not to mention I still have a few questions and the moogle started getting a bit pushy after awhile.

So, I guess for starters...my name's Bolin and I'm new. [Awkward smile. Yeah, that aws obvious, wasn't it?] If anyone has seen a grumpy looking guy wearing a red scarf named Mako or a girl with a ponytail named Korra let me know. Although, I guess if they are here they'll hear this, right? I haven't seen Pabu either...but I'm sure he's okay if I really am just asleep. He's probably still just curled up asleep too.

[Pause in thought, Bolin glances down.]

Speaking of which...I guess I should think of a name for this little guy, huh? [Bolin aims his wrist down at a ball of blue fur that is anything but little and curled up at his feet and snuggled close. Apparently Bolin has a lazy Meow Wow for his companion and first dream eater Spirit.]

Ping maybe?

[He pokes the Meow Wow with his foot and the creature purrs and twitches contentedly]

Right...so, uh, anything else I should know? This is one of those where do I even start kind of things.

[He looks a little awkward just sitting there with a sleeping Meow Wow. Care to help a fella out?]

Ooooh. Right. Sorry. Where I'm from everyone knows about bending, even if not everyone can do it. So that's probably the weirdest thing about this place so far. [He ponders how to explain a concept like bending without showing it since, well, he's not sure how to show it while wearing this wrist communicator.] Bending is just...well some people can control the elements like earth, fire, water and air and they're called benders. Bending is the ability to control an element. Most people can only learn to control one but there's one person, the Avatar, who can master all four elements. I'm actually friends with her.

[Only most people who can use magic can use all kinds of it, and there's more than just the elements.}

So you can control earth?

[Namine's just guessing that since he talked about making an earth tent.]

[He shrugs. Not the term he would use, but sure.]

I guess so, yeah.

[He nods at the question.]

[Now her Dream Eaters try to get in on the conversation. Batty hovers over her shoulder while Spot peers over the edge. Hello Bolin and Ping!]

I can do a lot of things with bending, it's more than just fighting, even if that's mainly what I use it for.

[He smiles at the Dream Eaters and waves.]

Hey guys!

Maybe I can see it sometime then.

[Spot yips happily at the greeting, and Batty chitters. After a moment of this attempted conversation, Namine takes over again.]

DId the Moogles get to tell you what the different kind of Dream Eaters are?

Yeah, I think so. Ping's a Meow Wow. [He gestures at the large blue cat-dog thing at his feet. It yips in response as if to say hello...to both Namine and Spot and Batty.] And they come from dream fragments or something, right?

Yes, and you can get those from fighting Nightmares. Once you have enough, you can make other Spirits.

[She pats Batty.]

He's a Komory Bat, and there are Hebby Repps and Pricklemanes.

Neat. I'll have to start collecting those then.

Yeah, the moogle mentioned them but he wasn't very good at explaining what they looked like. But I've seen them since then.

Okay. The Spirits are differently colored than Nightmares, so you can tell them apart that way.

I noticed that as well. Spirits seems to be a brighter, happier color than the Nightmares.

They are, but you can paint them different colors.

Really? And it doesn't hurt them or anything?

[He looks down at Ping.]

You would look good in a green my friend.

It doesn't. I painted mine, and am helping some of the others paint theirs.
