[There's a large finger poking at the wrist watch, connected to it is a boy who looks about 16. He stops after a few minutes and just tilts his head to the side. He has large green eyes and his thick eyebrows are furrowed in confusion] Okay I think I get the gist of all this based on what that moogle thing told me...but I still have to say it's pretty weird. Not to mention I still have a few questions and the moogle started getting a bit pushy after awhile.

So, I guess for starters...my name's Bolin and I'm new. [Awkward smile. Yeah, that aws obvious, wasn't it?] If anyone has seen a grumpy looking guy wearing a red scarf named Mako or a girl with a ponytail named Korra let me know. Although, I guess if they are here they'll hear this, right? I haven't seen Pabu either...but I'm sure he's okay if I really am just asleep. He's probably still just curled up asleep too.

[Pause in thought, Bolin glances down.]

Speaking of which...I guess I should think of a name for this little guy, huh? [Bolin aims his wrist down at a ball of blue fur that is anything but little and curled up at his feet and snuggled close. Apparently Bolin has a lazy Meow Wow for his companion and first dream eater Spirit.]

Ping maybe?

[He pokes the Meow Wow with his foot and the creature purrs and twitches contentedly]

Right...so, uh, anything else I should know? This is one of those where do I even start kind of things.

[He looks a little awkward just sitting there with a sleeping Meow Wow. Care to help a fella out?]

Hey, nice to see a new face around here. The name's York. I haven't seen either of your friends, but it seems like new people show up here every once in a while, so you might see 'em soon.

[Delta blinks into view next to York.]

I am Delta, York's...partner.

D is working on something that'll help out, but you'll find that nightmares will attack you once you're in certain places. Best thing to do is avoid 'em if you aren't ready for a fight. The green stuff in the bottle you got is a potion, and it'll heal or your dream eater up.

Nightmares are the...bad versions of these things, right? [He gestures to Ping, his Meow Wow.] I can fight...though I've never exactly had to test my earthbending against a nightmare before.

[He wonders if earth attacks will even work against a nightmare. Although, Ping feels pretty solid so supposedly the nightmares will be too, right?]

Potion...got it. I'll read this guide and maybe that will answer more questions.

Not sure what earthbending is, but normal fighting hurts nightmares just fine. If you have experience with self-defense that should work for you. The ones that look like this can shoot fire, though.

That might be a good idea since it sounds like sleeping on the streets might be a bit dangerous...at least until I figure out if my earthbending works on these things.

[Because, honestly, he had no qualms about sleeping on the streets...at all.]

No sun? [He looks up at the sky.] Uhm...no I guess not. It's not like I need the sun for earth bending...although Mako probably won't like that if he ever shows up.

Be careful if you run into Hebby Rep Nightmares. They use fire, and Meow Wows don't like it.

Might be a good thing Mako isn't here then. But, I'll keep that in mind, thanks. I guess if we run into any of those I'll have to handle them myself.

Yes, but the Moogles only give you enough for one night at the hotel at first. If you fight the Nightmares, they leave munny behind.

[Namine's going to guess that Mako uses fire kind of the way Axel does.]

Maybe. I think they can get used to a partner who uses fire, but it still scares them.
