[A video feed begins, showing a young man with silver hair who is in dire need of a haircut. Judging the from what’s visible of the background, he seems to be up in the tower in the fourth district.]
So, just how many people are stuck dreaming here? I haven’t had much of a look around, but this place seems bigger than I remember.
I haven’t seen any Heartless either, just Nightmares. Does anyone have more information about Dream Eaters in general?
[The barrage of questions seems to be over for a moment, before he remembers one last part.]
Oh, and has anyone seen someone named Sora around? If I fell asleep, he’s probably not far behind.

Well, there's the five districts, the alley behind the hotel, the back streets and alleys between First District and Fourth, the Fountain Pla- gah!
[The list of places is cut off by a single, apparently suicidal Nightmare bat dive bombing the back of Sora's head. Rude. Sora recovers quickly and swats the Nightmare out of the air easily enough and then looks around. There's never just one Nightmare around. Of course, sometimes it's only a few Nightmares and the interruption to the conversation is brief indeed.]
Uh, anyway, yeah it's actually a pretty big place. And some of the people brought here have opened their own businesses.

[He doesn't sound seriously concerned, because Sora can take care of himself. Still, surprise attacks are never fun.]
I guess if we're going to be here a while, that makes sense. You planning on opening up a dream shop?
[He's kidding. Probably.]
no subject
[No, they never are fun. Quite annoying, actually. But, the only real harm is to his ego.]
I don't know. Maybe?
[Sora's not entirely joking. Maybe. There is an idea he's vaguely toying with. But he's knows he'd need at least a little bit of help with it.]

[What does one even sell in the realm of dreams? Moogles and their whole item shop aside, anyway.]

[Well, there's a tea shop and a place to get Spirits painted. There's also a potion shop and a clothing store.
Incidentally, Sora's making good time as he makes his way to Fourth District. He's at the Fountain Plaza and, barring any more Nightmare interruptions, he should be arriving soon.]

[He leans back, waiting to hear the business plan. Staying put seems to be the best call if Sora is on the move; Riku's komory bat, however, squeaks restlessly.]

The Nightmares kind of lead into the other idea. Not everyone here is a fighter, so maybe it would be good if someone can help them get to places without worrying about the Nightmares.
[Of course, both of these ideas assume that Sora has any business sense or a willingness to charge for services he'd normally offer free of charge because he's a nice guy. It's true that fighting Nightmares nets a fair amount of cash, but there's only so much fighting one can do before they're just plain sick of it. But, for either of these ideas to work, Sora would need some help.
In the meantime, Sora's own bat has zipped ahead, both to pinpoint Riku's location and because he heard another bat. There need to be more bats as far as Bruce is concerned. So there will soon be a flying advertisement for the Spirit painting business approaching, painted mostly white, with his nose, wings and feet painted pale orange; pale yellow markings on his wings and pink in his ears.]

[He's oversimplifying a little, maybe. But protecting people sounds easier than cooking for some reason.
Riku's komory bat is still unnamed, but it is thrilled to see another spirit of its kind. The excited squeaks continue.]
...Is that one yours?

[And then there's the actual business stuff like ordering supplies, taking inventory, setting prices... The more Sora thinks about it, the more it looks like the bodyguard gig is the better idea. Alternately, a courier service might be good too.
Yay, bats! Bruce chatters back excitedly. New friends are very nice.]
Yeah, he's mine. His name's Bruce. And he's kind of a wise guy sometimes but he's reliable.
[It's not much longer before he's close enough to put the communicator away. They have a lot to talk about, but Sora has no idea where to even start. For the moment, he's just happy to have his best friend here.]

So... what have I missed?
[He’s almost afraid to ask, after just getting back on the same page... and then winding up here.]

[And he's not one hundred percent certain he should even say what happened. Time shenanigans are not fun and time in dreams... On the other hand, the couple of people who had woken up and spent some time in their home worlds either hadn't remembered their time here or wrote it off as an odd dream. So he might not be screwing around with time too much if he tells Riku what happened or will happen... whatever. Time travel is annoying. And this info dump might be better given somewhere more comfortable.]
Say, why don't we get inside somewhere? The tea shop's not far from here and the Nightmares can be kind of annoying.
[Not to mention snacks and tea might make giving the info dump a little better. If Riku's okay with that. Sora's Spirits certainly perked up at that idea. Then again, Namine always has treats available for any visiting Spirits, whether they're there for the teashop or the Spirit painting, which is in the same building.]

[He nods, but can’t shake the uneasy feeling. It’s the first time in forever that Sora has been ahead of him on events, and not being the one with all the information for once is a bit like having the metaphorical rug pulled out from under you.]
You’ll have to lead the way, though. I haven’t quite got the place mapped out yet.
