So have the dreams been making anyone else think, or is it just me?
[Concerns about the morality of the project you work for + confirmation that the project you work for has no morals + dreams about darkness and light and fun stuff like that/snorin pricklemane = insomnia!]
Voice; private
I think about both.
[He tries to focus on the keys, and usually winds up back on the corrupt project. Pathetic attempt at humour.]
Same
[There's a moment or two of silence as he thinks. He's fucked things up pretty recently by assuming people could and would handle emotional distress on their own. North is a world apart from the Blues, true, but it's still the same concept, right?]
...you wanna talk about it?

[It takes him a moment to answer. It's been proven that North isn't very good at talking about his own feelings, even though he insists on hearing everyone else out. And it's weird to have Wash offer. It's not really a gesture has come to expect, from the Wash he knows in the dream anyway.]
I'm not sure, to be honest. I'm just kinda...stuck.

[Keykids. Yeesh.]
[Wash has been through a lot since waking up. It's changed some things. He waits, patiently as he can, for North to start - Freelancers as a whole are pretty bad on the Talking About Feelings front, and North has always been more of a listener.]
On what?
no subject
[Granted he's never really gotten close enough to see the blade part.]
On where I stand with Freelancer. And what to do next, I guess.

[Between Keyblades and Tucker's sword, he's done asking about oddly-shaped cutting implements.]
[He stops himself from telling North that he can't help him with that. That's not what North needs to hear, even if it is all far in the past for Wash.]
Well, what do you want to do?
no subject
Part of me still wants to go back and try to fix things, or at least, try. The other part's not so sure anymore.
no subject
[He's doing his best to keep the doubt out of his voice - at this point, Wash isn't sure anything can be done about it.]
no subject
[He's surprised that Wash didn't outright reject the idea.]
