[The Doctor's on the comms looking absolutely exhausted. He was sleeping poorly last week. This week? No. It's been awful. He tries to force some cheer and a smile into the video. He's trying to hard though.]
So! Bit more settled here, that's all well and good. Could use a bit of an income of sorts though. That's new. Kind of weird. I figured I'd offer out my services at fixing things. Promise, I won't break it! [Probably. He might even try to make it better! That's totally okay, right?] Whatever it is you have, I'm sure I can put it back together.
I'm not looking to charge anything in particular, whether it's a little bit of munny or something for the Dream Eaters, it's something that'll help out my friends and I. The offer is always on the table, if ever anyone needs the help.
[He rubs at his eyes. He is so very done with these dreams.]

[Well that was direct]
[visual] [private]
No, unless you have something that can completely knock me out, free of dreams.
[He's not getting his hopes up though.]

Well.
I would certainly appreciate a night or several of dreamlessness. This really weighs down on a person after a bit. Is this the type of dream cycle you were talking about?
[Clearly he should have asked more about that, but at the time it didn't seem all THAT important. His bad. He understands her calling it "inconvenient" now.]

[What Luna means to say is that she is totally better at it. The best.]
I typically enter nightmares to guide ponies into confronting and overcoming their fears, but in this case they are caused by an outside source and one cannot simply overcome them through introspection. It has proven far more expedient to simply do away with them as quickly as possible, though I still do provide counsel where I think it needed.
[visual] [private]
Ah, so you'll be witness of them. [He doesn't exactly like the sound of that prospect, but hell, he's getting desperate.] I'd rather skip on the counseling. [He does not want to deal with his "identity issues" anytime soon, thanks.]
[visual] [private]
I do witness them, yes, but that is not my primary purpose. I can end them before anything untoward happens.

[visual] [private]
Some types of dreams simply happen. 'Tis quite natural.
[She thinks they're talking about something completely different now.]
[visual] [private]
Ah. [He's not sure how to tell her otherwise.] Right. Of course. [So he doesn't.]
[visual] [private]
But then, she is very old. She likely won't be shocked by too much.]
Observation is not my goal anyhow. And, of course, all dreams are confidential. [Unless they reveal a real-world threat, of course, but that should go without saying.]

[He's honestly just not sure HOW Luna's aid is going to go down.]

At least she looks better than The Doctor. ]
Define 'things' for me.
[ Tell her you've not gone back to trying to crack communicators. ]
no subject
All sorts of things! I'm sure there's people who've shown up with technology from their own worlds. ipods, tablets, watches, non-moogle communication devices... [He shrugs.]
no subject
I don't have any of those, at present. My world's technology is advancing, though there are many here who's worlds appear to be much further ahead than mine.
[ See: an entire spaceship world. ]
What is an eye-pod?
no subject
Oh... And ipods, well... They're from Earth, circa... [He frowns, realizing that the memory isn't coming to him as well as he thought it would.] 2001? Little devices. They store and play music.
no subject
[She's not letting him near her armor, for all it's not a patch on the Freelancers or even Stark's armor (when that man had been present).]
Earth? [That's...amusing, as names go. Not that she disapproves. Earth bender, and all that. Her head shook slightly.] We've no such recording devices. Though in Republic City, the development and use of radio systems has come quite a way.
no subject
Earth is a planet in the Milky Way Galaxy--at least in my universe. I doubt it'll creep up in these dreams. [He'll be incredibly worried if it does. He's a bit too attached to that planet.]
no subject
The M-- [Nope. Zero recognition.] -- That means nothing to me, I'm afraid. But the humans from the world that the Mother of Invention is from would likely know what that is.
[ Lin's not from an era where the Space Age is a thing. ]

I'll think about it.
[ But probably not. ]

Of course, I could always use help designing, if you wouldn't mind modeling for a bit.

no subject
Oh, she's more than welcome to model too if she'd like. it's just that I do need a gentlecolt of your stature for a few designs I'm working on.
no subject
...I suppose I could lend my assistance.
[He thinks he might regret this.]
no subject
[On the other hoof, Rarity can see just how uncomfortable the Doctor is with all of this.]
You don't have to model if you don't want to. I just thought you might like the opportunity, that's all.
no subject
Ah... well. I'm sure Donna could fit in well with the tea shop, if you don't have use of her so... [He cringes but shrugs.] I appreciate the opportunity and should probably give it a shot. [Pause.] That is assuming there's some compensation of sorts. [While he can be generous (though not as much as his Time Lord counterpart), he's got family to take care of.]
