[The video comes at an odd angle, all wild waves of vivid green hair, occasionally rocking nauseously to reveal pale, creamy skin and the flash of dark blue eyes or part of a nervous but friendly smile -- much like the voice that comes over the airwaves.]

I've... never used something like this before, so I hope it's working! [Her laugh comes soft, chiming a few times before dissipating. The screen shakes and a slender hand comes into view, gesturing as she speaks. Slowly her appearance becomes a little more visible; a sideways angle of about two-thirds of her face comes into focus. Though the angle is odd, it's clear that she is an attractive woman and while uncomfortable, she radiates warmth.]

I'm not really sure where I'm going with all of this, I hadn't had much of a plan in mind when I started. [Another soft laugh that implies she's lost in more than one sense of the word. It doesn't reach her eyes, nor does the smile any longer.]

I do have a question, though, if no one minds it. What now?

[Luna just assumes now that any humans who appear are going to be confused over what she is. She appreciates that Rydia didn't immediately freak out over the fact that she could talk, though.]

[ She says it like it is standard. Who cares what you are on the outside! Everyone is the same on the inside, right? ]

They did! I suppose I meant more on a grand scale, that "what next?" if that makes sense.

Is there some sort of goal I need to work toward to get home? And, I suppose, what do I do tomorrow? I don't mind sleeping outside; I'm used to camping. It's just that... this place is really overwhelming with all the lights and sounds! It's like nothing I've ever seen before!

[ A far cry from where she'd been when she first posted, she now seems more excited about all of this. Imagine the possibilities in a strange world such as this! ]

Oh! Certainly, if you possess it.

[sylvan]

That's a relief! I should be fine then. I mean, I have that animal following me around, too. Should I give it a name?

We generally do. Mine own are Noctis, Ursa, and Strix.

[She glances off-screen and whistles, calling a gray-and-purple painted Komory Bat to her shoulder, where it nuzzles her fondly before noticing their audience and sitting at attention.]

This is Noctis, the eldest.

[sylvan]

[ She has a Meow Wow. She thinks she prefers the bat, though. It's cute, but a little strange, almost scary. It reminds her of who she is -- and, oddly enough, her family. Her expression brightens and she clasps her hands together. ]

Ah, he -- is it a he? -- is really cute!

[raisethemoon]

[Noctis, despite himself, swells a little with pride. Being a Royal Guard means he probably shouldn't be adorable, but he still likes it.]

I am not certain how to discern their gender...but he has never minded being called such.

[sylvan]

Oh, well -- [ She ducks her head with a sheepish smile, talking directly to Noctis. ] -- I'm sorry if I'm wrong!

[ She doesn't seem to think it strange at all to be speaking to the creature, so it's likely common where she comes from. Or, at least common to her. ]

I haven't decided on a name for him yet. [ The screen tilts to her Meow Wow, who she has stopped to hesitantly approach. It seems friendly enough, but she thought it was just some sort of stray pet or something. ] Do they eat anything? [ She doesn't know. Eidolons left and went their own merry way, she didn't have to feed them. ]

Aye, the treats dropped by defeated Nightmares. Though they do not refuse other foods, if offered. Some of them quite seem to revel in it.

[sylvan]

Then I think that's the first thing I'll do.

[ It can't be any more difficult than fighting monsters, right? ]

And... another question. If you don't mind. Is there a way to make it so someone can't talk to you on these things? [ She is still really, really unhappy with Edge. It might come in handy for avoiding him. ]

[raisethemoon]

Oh! [Is something the matter here?] Well...you can set your messages in the future to be private, that they may not see them. Is someone bothering you?

[sylvan]

So I can set it so they're all blocked from him? Good.

[ She pauses. She didn't even talk to Rosa about it because she thought it was funny -- which, in turn, only frustrated her more. ]

Just someone I used to know from home, that's all.

[raisethemoon]

[Luna frowns, a little doubtfully.]

We do not brook harassment here. Do say something if he grows unruly.

[sylvan]

It's nothing. I can handle him if it gets... unruly.

[ She can't imagine it'll go beyond raised voices. Or, at least her own raised and him acting like a jerk and a coward. She had thought he'd grown up a little by the time they'd defeated Zeromus, but she should have known better. Not everyone is like Cecil or Kain and will actually change. ]

[raisethemoon]

[Luna doesn't know what's going on at all, but her mental image of this is probably a lot worse than it really is.]

[sylvan]

[ A childish quarrel between two full-grown adults? You bet that's what it is! ]

He's a coward.

[ Which she says in an almost dangerous tone. She wants him to hear it. ]

...I see.

[Well now she's just trying to figure out who it is. She most certainly knows them, she knows everyone here. It's clearly not any of the Freelancers, since their world lacks magic, and she doubts any of the people from Ven's world would clash with Rydia so terribly. Well, maybe Eraqus, but this doesn't sound like something he would do. Honestly, the people Luna dislikes most here are all female.]

Anyway, forget about it. He's not important. [ Again, deliberately choosing words that dig into the skin. She could have said that it wasn't important. ] I didn't mean to make this about some idiot ninja.

Goodness...it must be nearly over a year now. Perhaps longer...

[She hadn't exactly realized before. Time flies.]
