[The video comes at an odd angle, all wild waves of vivid green hair, occasionally rocking nauseously to reveal pale, creamy skin and the flash of dark blue eyes or part of a nervous but friendly smile -- much like the voice that comes over the airwaves.]

I've... never used something like this before, so I hope it's working! [Her laugh comes soft, chiming a few times before dissipating. The screen shakes and a slender hand comes into view, gesturing as she speaks. Slowly her appearance becomes a little more visible; a sideways angle of about two-thirds of her face comes into focus. Though the angle is odd, it's clear that she is an attractive woman and while uncomfortable, she radiates warmth.]

I'm not really sure where I'm going with all of this, I hadn't had much of a plan in mind when I started. [Another soft laugh that implies she's lost in more than one sense of the word. It doesn't reach her eyes, nor does the smile any longer.]

I do have a question, though, if no one minds it. What now?

[Noctis, despite himself, swells a little with pride. Being a Royal Guard means he probably shouldn't be adorable, but he still likes it.]

I am not certain how to discern their gender...but he has never minded being called such.

[sylvan]

Oh, well -- [ She ducks her head with a sheepish smile, talking directly to Noctis. ] -- I'm sorry if I'm wrong!

[ She doesn't seem to think it strange at all to be speaking to the creature, so it's likely common where she comes from. Or, at least common to her. ]

I haven't decided on a name for him yet. [ The screen tilts to her Meow Wow, who she has stopped to hesitantly approach. It seems friendly enough, but she thought it was just some sort of stray pet or something. ] Do they eat anything? [ She doesn't know. Eidolons left and went their own merry way, she didn't have to feed them. ]

Aye, the treats dropped by defeated Nightmares. Though they do not refuse other foods, if offered. Some of them quite seem to revel in it.

[sylvan]

Then I think that's the first thing I'll do.

[ It can't be any more difficult than fighting monsters, right? ]

And... another question. If you don't mind. Is there a way to make it so someone can't talk to you on these things? [ She is still really, really unhappy with Edge. It might come in handy for avoiding him. ]

Oh! [Is something the matter here?] Well...you can set your messages in the future to be private, that they may not see them. Is someone bothering you?

[sylvan]

So I can set it so they're all blocked from him? Good.

[ She pauses. She didn't even talk to Rosa about it because she thought it was funny -- which, in turn, only frustrated her more. ]

Just someone I used to know from home, that's all.

[raisethemoon]

[Luna frowns, a little doubtfully.]

We do not brook harassment here. Do say something if he grows unruly.

[sylvan]

It's nothing. I can handle him if it gets... unruly.

[ She can't imagine it'll go beyond raised voices. Or, at least her own raised and him acting like a jerk and a coward. She had thought he'd grown up a little by the time they'd defeated Zeromus, but she should have known better. Not everyone is like Cecil or Kain and will actually change. ]

[Luna doesn't know what's going on at all, but her mental image of this is probably a lot worse than it really is.]

[ A childish quarrel between two full-grown adults? You bet that's what it is! ]

He's a coward.

[ Which she says in an almost dangerous tone. She wants him to hear it. ]

...I see.

[Well now she's just trying to figure out who it is. She most certainly knows them, she knows everyone here. It's clearly not any of the Freelancers, since their world lacks magic, and she doubts any of the people from Ven's world would clash with Rydia so terribly. Well, maybe Eraqus, but this doesn't sound like something he would do. Honestly, the people Luna dislikes most here are all female.]

Anyway, forget about it. He's not important. [ Again, deliberately choosing words that dig into the skin. She could have said that it wasn't important. ] I didn't mean to make this about some idiot ninja.

I, um. I really appreciate you helping me.

[ She will probably find she dislikes Edge, too. 8( ]

Have you been here long?

Goodness...it must be nearly over a year now. Perhaps longer...

[She hadn't exactly realized before. Time flies.]

[sylvan]

And you... haven't been able to go home yet?

[ She'd been in the Feymarch for quite some time. She wonders how long Edge has been here. Maybe even if he doesn't apologize, he's done some thinking about the way he behaved and felt a little guilty? Wishful thinking on her part, but... well. Either way, it didn't seem to matter much to him. Some things never change. ]

Neigh, but several of my subjects have since arrived, as well as my sister. They assure me that I will return safely. Time, you see, is somewhat nebulous here.

[sylvan]

That must be nice, though, having people you know here! [ Alicorns you know? She isn't sure how that works. ]

I'm... used to time flowing strangely. Depending on how it works here, it might be either a relief or a complete disaster.

As I understand it, when we awaken from here we return to the precise moment when we were taken. Others may arrive from different points in time, yet be here simultaneously with us. Some have gone home for a year, and been gone only a week from our perspective.

[sylvan]

I'm not sure if I should be grateful for that discretion or not. It's convenient, sure, but I'm also inconvenienced by being here... ah. All I can really do is try to make the most of it, right?

[ She tilts her head when she smiles, her wavy hair bobbing to the side whens he does. ]
