If anyone's having any trouble with the latest round of dreams, I can help. Or at least listen if you want.

I figure I owe you guys since I got helped last time.

[A little while later, the video's on and there's a variety of holograms appearing. Some fireworks, a few dream eaters, a moogle. All a familiar red and blue colour. Theta's trying his best to cheer people up.]

[ooc: timing for this is nebulous and can easily become action if that's what you want. Just let me know the subject line or somewhere how you want to do this.]

Nothing I can't handle, though it's making me realize that I fought a lot more with my sister than I thought.

[Granted she started most of them.]

I'm going to guess you haven't been as lucky.

I think we all fight with our siblings more than we think, or wish. I was that way with Ari and Talia. [They were all at fault on picking the fights, in her family.]

No, I have not. My family history is not...the best, I would say.

Your sisters?

[There's a bit of a pause as he looks for the right words.]

And that's what's causing the nightmares.

Older brother Ari, younger sister Talia.

[A nod.]

We did not part on the best of terms.

[North looks a little sheepish at the mistake, but then turns serious.]

I'm sorry to hear that. Your dreams are probably about that then.

[Ziva shrugs, by the names, you wouldn't be able to tell probably.]

Yes, they are. [The next part is muttered.] But I should have expected it.

I don't know how much help I'll be, but if you want to talk about it, I'll listen.

[She is tired, and her filter is not fully engaged anymore.]

You ever have a family member killed, North?

[Well that took a morbid turn]

I can't say that I have.

[She'll apologize later when she realizes her filter didn't engage.]

Lucky. Most of my family is gone. My dreams are of them.

I'm...sorry to hear that. No wonder it's difficult for you.

[There's a pause, long enough for Ducky to be concerned enough to prod his person with a leaf.]

Ah...I am sorry. I should not be bothering you with my problems.

It's fine, really. I mean, that's kind of why I made the post.

You helped me last time after all as well. I owe you one.

Just do me a favor?

When you see them again, make sure they know you care for them. And never leave angry words hanging... you do not know if you will see them again.

[North nods. He'd been planing to do that the moment he got back anyway. He hadn't really had a chance to talk to South and he knew she was upset.]

You feel guilty about doing something like that, right?

In a way, I do. I said some harsh words to my father before he was ki---[She manages to catch herself.]---died.

[Most of North's focus is not at Ziva. Part of it's on Cactus who is trying to be supportive by sitting in North's lap, even if he's a little big for that.]

And that weighs on you. I wish could say more, I'm not being much help.

[Ziva chuckles at Cactus, even as Ducky climbs a bit more on her shoulder to see the other spirit, waving as he does so.]

You are listening, and I doubt you judge me for what I say. That is help enough.

[Cactus swishes his tail in response. It's about all he can do right now.]

You're right. I don't.

[pause]

I feel I should let you know. Wash is really worried about you.

[There's a small pause while she thinks.]

I figured he would be. This just is not a topic that easily comes up in conversation. Or easily discussed.

Yeah, it really isn't.

He did ask for details, but I haven't said anything. And I won't if you don't want me to.

You can tell him what you think is appropriate. I plan on talking with him if I ever get enough sleep to function again. [There's a lopsided smile there, as if she knows that's going to be a while.]

Fair enough.

If you want I can get Cactus to help you sleep. If you don't mind a pricklemane sitting on your chest, not really giving you much of a choice.

[That seemed to work last time.]

[There's a laugh like sound from Ducky. He agrees, but, well, he has no opinion here. Ziva chuckles.]

I think I will pass, although the offer is appreciated. I am sure I will pass out again at some point.

Probably for the best. He's heavier than he looks.
