3rd Day [Text]
[He's been thinking about this a lot. Since he got over the shock of the mansion showing up, and since people started returning from it unscathed. He's not sure if that's a good thing or not, since he doesn't know if he'll go through the same thing.
But at some point he needs to know. Deep down, he knows he can't keep running. At least this time, it's his choice, and he's not being forced into anything.
He's off by himself, keeping things to text in an effort to stay anonymous, though who knows how effective that will be.]
How do you deal with something that's bothering you?
[That should be vague enough.]

[Probably friend, but it's definitely not a dream eater York's seen before. At least it was distracting Roxas from the funk that he was in, even if it was doing it by tossing things at his head.]

[Flipper squeaks and starts bouncing his ball again. Roxas keeps a eye on him, in case he decides to throw it at him again.]
I'm still training him though.

[They could work around to what was bothering Roxas. York hadn't had much to do with kids recently, but he'd been decent with them before. But then, kids here seemed to be more grown up than he'd have expected from back home, unless it was a colony kid who'd been under siege. Hm. Maybe that was something to think about.]

[But he supposed the seal was alright. Useful in a fight and that was what mattered.]
no subject
[Yeah, okay, this talking around things wasn't working.]
no subject
[The look on his face says it didn't work and the seal snickers again. Roxas looks up and down the street.]
If this conversation's gonna happen, can we go somewhere less open?
no subject
[The station tower would work; not many people would want to climb that without a reason.]
no subject
I guess the clock tower's the most private place.
[It's still hard to go up there though. Doesn't look like any of this will be easy.]
no subject
[York started to head up the hill. Something was weighing on the kid; he only hoped he could help Roxas more than he'd been able to help Wash since getting here.]
Just going to fast forward them if that's alright.
He looks around, blankly.]
I don't really know where to start.
Yes good
Well, we can start off with general stuff. I saw your post to Wash, a while back; are you worried about the crack in the wall?
[He'd noticed Roxas was wary of it.]
no subject
The mansion.
no subject
no subject
Yeah, something did.
That's hard to explain though.
no subject
You don't have to tell me about it if you don't want to.
no subject
I mean, that's why we're here, right?
no subject
[York pauses.]
If it's something hard to talk about, the best way is to start at the beginning and just push through. There's no way to make it easier to talk about with people.
no subject
Right.
I guess this all starts with Sora, because I'm...I'm part of him.
no subject
[That sounds like...more of this weird heart stuff that this place has going on.]
no subject
[He's soldiers on, just trying to get through it.]
At some point, when he was trying to save the worlds, he had to turn himself into a heartless, and I showed up at the same time. I didn't know though. Axel says I was like a zombie back then.
no subject
[It sounds like the fragmentation process; York can feel Delta curl up into a tighter ball in the back of his head. Delta didn't figure that he'd be in on this conversation for Roxas' comfort, but it looks like he'll want to bow out for his own protection as well.]
no subject
I didn't know about any of that. I was just running missions for the Organization.
no subject
[If he didn't have any memories to compare his life to, Roxas would have thought was going on around him was normal. Especially if you have routine, it's easy not to question things and just go with it.]
no subject
[Even if he can't really remember one of them.]
We used to come up here every day after we were done our missions and eat ice cream and watch the sunset.
[He sighs]
This is where it gets complicated.
no subject
Okay, I'm listening.
