003 [Accidental Video]

[Eraqus's communicator switches on without his doing...in this case, it looks like Kura accidentally turned it on while lifting it up with his tail. Kura peers under the communicator, then temporarily scampers out of sight of it.]

Yaza?

[Kura's not the only one that appears to be searching. Eraqus is looking around the small room he's taken up at Sunset Hill, with Gengo and Chuza also glancing around in confusion.]

Yaza!

[Still nothing. Eraqus stops, looking frustrated.]

Honestly...what good is it to have a Spirit that immediately goes missing?

[He sighs, and walks out of view of the communicator, which is still broadcasting. As soon as he is out of view, a Toximander's head can be seen slowly emerging out of the floor. The Dream Eater blinks in the direction that Eraqus went, looks around a bit, then dives back into the floor.]

[And then he glances down under his feet. In the floor? That's not exactly the best of signs.]

You saw it there?

It rose up, as if from a pool of shadow, and then descended once more. Just there. [She lifts a hoof to point.]

Shadow? [Eraqus frowns...he'd rather not be having to deal with something that uses darkness exclusively. Maybe it can be trained out of that. He turns around and taps his foot on the floor.]

Yaza! Come out here!

[Still no response.]

...it did appear to be hiding from thee.

[He sees that eyeroll, Luna. He stops and crosses his arms for a little bit, thinking. Maybe if it's not responding to actual commands, he can at least try to coax it out some other way.]

[Eraqus walks over to the bed, opens one of his satchels, and pulls out a block-it chocolate he's collected. He then leans over the floor, waving the treat.]

Yaza?

[After a moment, the Spirit's head emerges from the floor, eyes fixed on the chocolate. It considers this for a minute, then jumps out to snatch the treat out of his hand, only to dive back into the floor. Eraqus yanks his hand back in surprise.]
