This may seem a bit odd.... but I have a question for those who are in this strange place.

There was...an incident... before I woke up here, and I seem to have this head pain that will not go away. I know this is not the best thing to have occur.

Is there anyone at least a bit medically trained that I can speak with?

If you are injured, a cure spell should be able to fix the problem.

That said, while I am not a medical professional, I have some skills in the field. [He judiciously does not mention that these skills heavily feature cloning and other poor choices.] What sort of discomfort are you experiencing?

And, which of these things is a potion? [Can you tell she's not from around here yet?] Besides, why would I drink something that I do not know the contents of. The easiest way to get one killed.

Ah, a headache that is not subsiding, and it is slightly worrisome. I believe there was some sort of explosion where I was before I was here. [That last sentence sounds confused, as if she's not exactly sure what she's explaining.]

Are you experiencing any irregularities of vision, or nausea? I suppose it's pointless to ask about sleepiness or loss of consciousness, under the circumstances.

Not really. This is mostly the headache. I do know I was knocked out briefly when the explosion took out power to the elevator.

That would be them, yes. My experience of them is that they are mercenary little beasts who deliberately make it as difficult as possible to reverse-engineer their products; however, said products are reliable.

Do you notice any abrasions or swelling on your skull? Either way, does the pain seem to be associated with a particular location?

No swelling, a scrape or two from my fall, but nothing that would be incredibly out of the ordinary. And no, it is just general pain.

I have not yet. I just realized the use of said potion. I do not normally trust strange liquid provided by strange creatures. But, I may be making an exception.

At this point, it may be the best solution. Although I do miss the bottle of tylenol in my desk.

I don't know if we have any doctor's here, but Potions usually help if you're hurt.

Potions and magic for healing are commonly used for injuries sustained in the field; I don't believe that anyone I have encountered here as yet is trained in the type of healing that deals with illnesses and medicines.

If you are looking for something more comparable to what you're used to at home, you might inquire of a moogle about importing items. They are quite capable at getting materials from various locales.
