[Tidus really doesn't look too happy about being here, but he already lost his temper on the Moogle. As far as he's concerned, they're only helpful when they're being held by a certain leather dress wearing black mage.]

They're happy to help, except that part where we can't leave.

[He brightens suddenly at a thought, talking just a bit more animatedly.]

I think I heard someone say once that when you dream, time passes differently, or something. Maybe when we wake up, things will be exactly the same. Still...

It doesn't feel like a dream. It's too surreal to be one.

[He glances down at his Dream Eater pieces, hardly thinking about them, then looks up.]

Is there a pool around here? I need somewhere to think. I can sleep there, too.

[Not really.]

We do actually, well most of the time. I mean, we are brothers, so sometimes we have our disagreements, too.

Cool! I can't do much magic, but it's really cool to watch, except when it's in your direction and then it tends not to be fun, what about you, can you do any?

[Tidus learn to catch your breath.]

Oh, do you do things like pranks and stuff like that?

N--[Right, magic was something different here.] Yeah. It's called Earth Bending where I'm from. I control earth, like rocks and dirt and stuff.

[Smirk.]

You control the earth? [he grins, curious.] What's that like? And how come you both chose one element?

It sounds pretty fun.

Well it's a pretty handy skill I'll say that much.

[As for the element thing.]

That's just how things work where I'm from. Certain people can use a specific element. The only person I know of that can use more than one is the Avatar. Oh and we don't choose the element, it's just part of who we are when we're born.

I bet. [He nods in understanding.] Sounds pretty useful... Who's the Avatar?

They're the person who keeps balance in the world. They can bend all four elements and also have big spiritual powers.

The current Avatar is named Korra. She's really cool.

All that depending on one person? That's gotta be a difficult job.

Is she hot?

[buymedumplings]

It is...but that's why they are so powerful too I think.

She's gorgeous...but, uh, she's also kinda taken.

Yeah, they'd probably need that power. I bet everyone expects them to uphold some sort of certain image and role, too...

Oh. That's not surprising...did you say gorgeous? [He smirks.]

A lot of people do. I know Korra's had some problems with living up to the legacy of Avatar Aang. But, I know she can be just as good of an Avatar as he was.

[Frown.]

Look. She just got with my brother after some...confusing relationship mess. [Involving both himself and Asami.] Drop it.

She could be better, if she wants. She should be her own Avatar anyway, not just the previous one's legacy.

Oh...sorry. [he awkwardly scratches the back of his head.]

I hope she learns that. I think she's a great Avatar myself.

[He's also biased but that's just Bolin for ya. He holds up his hands to placate the conversation. He realizes he might have sounded a bit snappy.]

It's okay.

It's tough, but she'll probably figure it out over time. Having friends that believe in you helps too...so she's lucky.

[He nods, and offers a small smile. Relationship messes were a pain to go through so Bolin's reaction is understandable.]

Have you dealt with something like this before? Cause you sound like you have.

Uh...yeah, you could say that.
