They're happy to help, except that part where we can't leave.

[He brightens suddenly at a thought, talking just a bit more animatedly.]

I think I heard someone say once that when you dream, time passes differently, or something. Maybe when we wake up, things will be exactly the same. Still...

It doesn't feel like a dream. It's too surreal to be one.

[He glances down at his Dream Eater pieces, hardly thinking about them, then looks up.]

Is there a pool around here? I need somewhere to think. I can sleep there, too.

[York gestures to Delta, grinning.]

Haven't seen a pool around here; the closest thing would be the big fountain, and there are dream eaters that hang out around there.

Aside from the very real risk of drowning, there is also the risk of hypothermia in worlds where the seasons are sufficiently pronounced.

Yes. This world is the only one currently present, but those present here come from any of a number of worlds.

Yeah, there was a pretty big battle a while back. Not a huge deal, but definitely a workout.

[This guy really isn't taking his situation seriously enough. Unless he's more of a fighter than he looks like, which, given what York's seen so far, is totally possible.]

[Something is way too different here. On the surface of it, Sora knows that people are being dragged from different points in time as well as different worlds. Even considering different times, seeing TIdus older is still a little jarring. That he's seeing an alternate version is the furthest idea from Sora's mind right now.]

Um, dreams usually are surreal. But, I guess it might make a little more sense to say this is a dream world.

[More specifically the dreams of the world itself, but Sora has enough trouble understanding that as it is. He doubts he would be able to properly explain it.]

I hope so. My brother will be freaking out if I've really been asleep for several days now.

[Bolin looks a little troubled at that thought but he knows there isn't much he can do...so he brushes it off. Suddenly a large round face is in the screen pearing at you Tidus. It looks like a cat or maybe a dog. Bolin makes a huffing sound and shoves the Meow Wow back.]

Down boy.

I know what you mean though. I haven't seen any of my normal dream scenarios.

Anyway, it's not like we're completely alone here. There's people that will help and we can be friends if nothing else. I'm Bolin.

[The Meow Wow pops back into the screen but this time there appears to be a lizard-thing clinging to its' overly large head.]

GAH! And this is Ping and Mako Jr.

We hope that is the case. If we hath truly been asleep for so long, our sister must surely be frantic!

[Tidus is getting used to battles, but one like York describes is harder to imagine.]

Did they team up and attack or something?

They just kind of mobbed everyone in the area. We all got out fine.

[Really, it had gone pretty well for almost everyone. Weird messages aside.]

Oh, right, that makes sense. I used to sometimes wonder if there were other worlds, and what they were like. I imagined lots of things, but nothing like this.

They are, but they're also more familiar, usually. That's been my experience. I wonder why it's pulling everyone here.

[A pause, his eyes widening hopefully.]

Are you from Zanarkand too?

What did you imagine?

[This is odd. And awkward. Maybe better to address other concerns for the moment, like the situation at hand.]

We're trying to figure that out. There's a lot of people from different worlds here.

[And then Sora's smacked with a place name he's never heard before. What.]

Where? No, my home is a couple of islands called Destiny Islands.

I don't even want to think about how some people might react.

Whoa! [Tidus jumps back...before he smiles and leans in to get a closer look at the Meow Wow, forgetting it's a communicator.]

Yeah. This doesn't even remotely resemble anywhere I've been before.

Not being alone does make it a lot better. [he grins.] I like that idea. I'm Tidus! Nice to meet you.

[This time he just brightens in amusement.]

You're pretty sneaky. So who's Mako Jr. named after?
