[Bolin is sitting in his earth tent. Those who saw it originally built will notice that it has a few cushions and a sleeping bag inside now, a few comforts Bolin was able to get with the munny he had earned from fighting Nightmares. Ping was sleeping on his back, his stomach rising and falling.

Bolin was sitting at an earth-made "table" and trying to look serious or, at the very least, professional. Now, why would someone like Bolin pull this kind of face? Well, let him explain.]

So, I'm mostly settled now I think. Thanks for everyone's help.

What I wanted to ask about though was jobs here in Traverse Town. I know I can get munny from taking out Nightmares, but that gets a little monotonous and so I figured there had to be something ELSE to do to pass the time. I started wondering what Mako would do if he were here and that's when it hit me: he would get a job!

What do you guys think? Are there any places around town that need some help? Even if it's menial labor or dirty jobs, I don't mind. I can do heavy lifting too and running deliveries wouldn't be a problem either since Ping and I can handle the nightmares. I've done stuff like that before for the Triple Threats too. Guard work too, actually.

See? I have a lot of skills that can be helpful. What do you say? Please hire me?

Okay. I'm in the Back streets right now. Look for a tent made of earth...should stick out from surroundings.

[earthshatter]

[Aeleus nods, and then the video feed cuts out.

It does take him some time to get to the appropriate section of the back streets - he doesn't have the easy advantage of portals these days and doesn't much want to either - but the earthtent does in fact stick out. More so than it might for most, even, given the element he himself wields.

It's only once he arrives that he realizes he's forgotten to ask for a name. He'll have to improvise, although it's hardly the first time he's needed to do so. There's a brief moment of silence, before he clears his throat and speaks.]

Excuse me. I was told to show up here?

[Bolin had thought it best to wait outside. He'd cleared up the Nightmares earlier so it was a pretty quiet day since then. He looked up when the man spoke and rose to his feet. Ping rolling up onto his feet as well.]

Yeah! About the job, right?

I'm Bolin and this is Ping.

[earthshatter]

Correct.

[There's a slight nod to go with his answer.]

Aeleus. It's a pleasure to meet you.

Nice to meet you too.

So what was it you were going to tell me about this job?

[earthshatter]

Both the tea shop and the potion shop are run by friends of mine. However, I can't help both of them at once. I'm not certain all that it would entail, but I believe it would largely fall into the category of "odd jobs".

[buymedumplings]

Oh wow I wasn't expecting TWO possible jobs. Are you sure they'd be okay with me helping out?

[earthshatter]

Yes. Even may offer some complaint, but should he do so, you may simply refer him to me.

[buymedumplings]

Even. I'm not sure I've met him yet. How much complaint?

[Bolin was kind of used to dealing with grumps.]

[earthshatter]

[There's a pause, and then a slight sigh before Aeleus answers.]

There are times I nearly believe he is happiest when he has something to complain about.

[buymedumplings]

[Bolin chuckles.]

I think I know someone like that back home.

I'd love to help out.

[earthshatter]

I'll be sure to inform them, then. I've been largely assisting with the tea shop, so it would likely be the most productive to check in at the potion shop first.

[buymedumplings]

I've been meaning to look into more of these potions anyway.

[They didn't really have potions like this where he was from, he hoped it would be easy to learn since he really did want a job.]

[earthshatter]

I'm sure Even would be glad to explain.

[buymedumplings]

Great. So can we head to the potion shop now?

[Without a sun it was hard to mark the passage of time and learning more now seemed like a good idea.]

[earthshatter]

Of course. If you'd care to follow me?

Sure!

[Bolin hopped to his feet, eager to get started.]

[earthshatter]

[Aeleus nods to himself, before turning and setting off in the direction in of the potion shop. There's nothing else that immediately requires his attention, after all, and he's always been more inclined to silence than not.]

[buymedumplings]

[Bolin's not.

But he's also not sure what to say to this very large man. It's not that he's intimiated it's just that he's not sure what to talk about. After racking his brain for a few seconds he finally came up with something.]

So Even owns the potion shop. What's the name of the guy who owns the tea shop? [Beat.] How long have you known them anyway, Aeleus?

[earthshatter]

Ienzo's in charge of the tea shop. I've known him most of his life, at this point. As for Even... I've know him for well over a decade.

[buymedumplings]

Ienzo. Got it.

[He nods.]

Sounds like you've known them a long time then.

[earthshatter]

I have, yes.
