[There's a high-pitched yelp.

It sounds sort of strangled, or maybe it even sounds like someone getting squished under a heavy weight. Whatever has happened doesn't take too long to recover from, however, as the high-pitched voice rouses from that former dazed state.]

...Oh boy. Anybody got the license plate of that train??

[He tries to laugh, letting it peter off into a mild groan.

Somewhere behind him, there's the sound of a muffled, fat bark.]

[He does have a tone of voice not many others possess. And just like his, Namine's is very different and unfamiliar to him.]

Oh, I'll be just fine! Nothin' to worry too much about, haha. I'm pretty resilient!

[Namine smiles, looking a little relieved.]

That's good. Is that a new Spirit?

[Some of them can be enthusiastic.]

He is! Welp, I think it's a 'he.'

[Fat barking. All the fat barking.]

It's difficult to tell sometimes, isn't it?

[Meanwhile, her Meow Wow Spot is poking his nose into the screen and Batty the Komory Bat is peering over her shoulder. Hi new Person!]

[Ooh! Friends! The Meow Wow wriggles into Mickey's view, sniffing at the communication device as he laughs some more.]

Aw, hiya, fellas! Are these little guys your dream-whatsits?

Yes, they are. The Meow Wow is Spot, and the Komory Bat is Batty. Oh! and my name is Namine.

[Where are her manners, forgetting to introduce herself like that. Ienzo would be so disappointed. Still, she smiles as the new Meow Wow attempts to great her. Spot whuffs his own greeting, and Batty chitters a hello.]

[Mickey laughs, not even bothered by the fact she forgets a small little detail like that.]

Hiya, fellas! And it's very nice t'meetcha, Namine! I'm Mickey Mouse! And this here is...

[He stares at the Meow Wow for a moment. It barks, smushing itself into his stomach. Oof!]

Gee, I guess we gotta get you a name, huh? I'll think of somethin'!

[Namine's smile widens a bit in relief that he doesn't seem to be too bothered by that misstep.]

It's nice to meet you too, Mickey-ah, You're Majesty.

[Spot smushes his face even more into the screen. There's another one of his kind there, Person, he wants to go meet them and plaaaay. Namine ignores the beseeching looks he's giving her when not plastered to the screen.]

Most of the others have named theirs, too, I think, but names can be awfully difficult to think of.

No need t'be formal with me! Mickey's just fine.

An' it looks like I got some catchin' up to do, haha! Shouldn't be too hard, though...

[He eyes the Meow Wow that practically vibrates with excitement.]

[Namine nods in acknowledgement of that. It might take some getting used to, but if it's Mickey he wants to be called, Mickey he shall be.]

Sometimes it depends on the Spirit. A few times I've thought of something quickly, but others...

Names are important, but we don't hafta worry 'bout it right now. I'm sure it'll come up sometime!
