Is Twilight Town open yet?

[It's been what feels like a long time. And he doesn't want to be in Traverse Town. He wants to be somewhere else. Somewhere where he doesn't have to keep sorting out memories.

There's a long pause before the next part is added.]

Also I think Emizel went home. I haven't seen him around lately.

I regret that Twilight Town along with the rest of the worlds have yet to reopen. I would hazard to guess it will remain closed until the appearance of another keyhole.

I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of Death Emizel. We may take comfort in the knowledge he can return to his duties in the waking world.

[He had a feeling that would be the news on the worlds, but it doesn't make him any less annoyed.]

I hope he's alright.

I haven't seen it open yet.

[Xion's getting a bit annoyed with the confinement, too. She might live in Traverse Town, but she likes visiting the other places.]

I haven't seen Emizel around much, either...I guess he has gone home.

Do you want some company?

[She's been working on helping the noncombatants, but if biffle needs her she will come.]

With all that he has learned here and grown with the support of exceptional young gentleman such as yourself, I have little doubt that he is well prepared for what challenges await him.

[It's a practical observation as much as one meant to soothe Roxas.]

[It sort of works and he kind of likes being called exceptional.]

He just seemed really worried about it all. Kinda wish I could have helped more.

I'm at the tower in the second district.

I suspect you may have helped more than you could ever hope to know. Death Emizel seemed to be particularly self-deprecating at times, even when his powers matched or out-matched those around him. You may well have helped to build his confidence.

I hope so. I mean, he helped me out to so it's only fair.

[He's been through the archives and Roxas is relatively scarce in them. Perhaps it will help the boy to remember their time together as something that truly changed him in ways that cannot be forgotten.]

How so, may I ask?

Helped me with magic and stuff like that. We talked about a lot of things.

[Or it might induce him to be incredibly vague, as young boys often are.]

Discussion can often lead to revelations about the self or world. I trust your conversations were pleasant and enlightening?

[Xion thinks for a moment. While she doesn't want to bother him if he doesn't want company (and really, she doesn't know why she made that text private), he seems unsure on the topic. It's not like she can't leave if it turns out he doesn't want company.

So she's off to the second district and finds him pretty quickly.]

[Roxas is the most helpful.]

They were, yeah. I mean, things were kinda fuzzy when I first showed up here, so he was able to help me remember a few things.

[Roxas looks up from where he was staring out into space.]

Hey.

[That, at least, is interesting.]

How so? I was under the impression that he was not from your connected worlds to offer any insight on them.

Well, we figured out that the magic was kinda similar. And I could at least spar with him.

It wasn't very strong. I was mostly remembering how to do it.

Do you have anyone you'd like to continue that with, perhaps? Or have most of your memories returned?

Some of the early stuff's still fuzzy....but most of the important ones are back. Not all of them though.

[He still has trouble remembering Xion.]

I'm pleased to know your memories are returning. Is there anyone who might be able to help you with the rest? Master Sora, Ms. Namine, Ms. Xion, and several others are from the same world as you, are they not?

[Long pause. That's where things get difficult. What with him having too many of Sora's memories, none of Xion from before falling asleep and Namine being the cause of most of his fuzzy memories...]

They are.

[Jeeves can read between the lines well enough to sense the implicit conversational dodge. He doesn't press. It would likely be something better addressed in-person.]

I trust you'll be able to determine the best course of action for regaining the memories still lost. I wish you luck in the endeavor. If there's anything I might be able to do to assist you, I should be happy to offer my services.

[Roxas isn't sure that there is one but he keeps trying.]

...it's all kinda hard to explain....just a lot of stuff happened.

I think, perhaps, an explanation might be better offered in-person if you would like to give one. We could meet at the tea shop if that's to your preference.

[Jeeves is still keenly aware of the possibility of their enemy listening in over the communicators.]

[Roxas is somewhat dithering about this, but really, Jeeves does have some of the story so he might as well have all of it.]
