[And here we have a new face. One who seems to have a fairly interesting choice in clothes, if the over-long scarf is any indication. Still, he doesn't seem to mind it any. In fact, he seems to be far more interested in the communicator itself.]

Ah, there we are. You know, it really is fascinating how many different ways to talk to people there are. You’d think that sooner or later all devices like this one would end up looking he same, but I’ve seen so many different kinds, over the years. And none of them are at all alike, except in what they do. Communication, no matter what form it takes.

So, hello, then! How are you all doing, out there?

I'm the Doctor, fine, and me. Not necessarily in that order.

Well, I would hope not in that order. I'm not sure what would be implied by making 'Doctor' an adverb. And 'Fine' would be a silly name.

It would be. But it takes all kinds, really. Maybe there's somewhere where "Fine" is a perfectly acceptable name.

You're going to have to pick something else. We've already got a 'the Doctor', and it would get confusing. How do you feel about anagrams?

It's certainly possible.

[He's not yet been everywhere, after all, and he's certainly not about to rule out the possibility of there being somewhere that plays by a fairly different set of rules.]

Anagrams are terrible. Besides, he might have been here first, but the name was mine first.

Anagrams are not - [Okay, anagrams are objectively somewhat terrible, and Even isn't sure he wants to go there again.] - Anyway, how do you know it was 'yours first'? You don't know how old he is - and for that matter, neither do I.
