[And here we have a new face. One who seems to have a fairly interesting choice in clothes, if the over-long scarf is any indication. Still, he doesn't seem to mind it any. In fact, he seems to be far more interested in the communicator itself.]

Ah, there we are. You know, it really is fascinating how many different ways to talk to people there are. You’d think that sooner or later all devices like this one would end up looking he same, but I’ve seen so many different kinds, over the years. And none of them are at all alike, except in what they do. Communication, no matter what form it takes.

[She explodes out from somewhere within the folds of his scarf, cupcake in hooves.] Here you go! Welcome to Traverse Town!

[That is something that he's never had happen before. But he carries on as if it's nothing too out of the ordinary. And in any case, the cupcake is more interesting just at the moment.]

No problem! I make cupcakes for ALL the newbies!

[She jumps down out of the scarf, as if this were a totally normal thing to do.]

I'm the Doctor. It's very nice to meet you.

[sailorlaughter]

You too! C'mon, I'll give you the tour! This place is GREAT, as long as you've gotta be stuck in a dream for ages and ages and ages, y'know?

[allpurposescarf]

You know, I don't think I've heard that in a very long time. Lead on.

[sailorlaughter]

Okie-dokie-lokie!

[She starts hopping off down the street.] That's the tea shop over there! I don't really WORK there, but I use their kitchens a lot to make cupcakes and then when there's some left over, they sell them and pay me some! The hotel's down this way too. Some people stay there forever, but some people go get their own rooms. These buildings are pretty much FULL of empty ones!

No native population then? Or is it just that everyone else lives elsewhere?

[sailorlaughter]

Well, it's a dream Ponyville, I guess, so everypony else must still be awake! All the worlds are pretty empty except for the Moogles! I dunno where THEY came from, though.

Of course it is! But usually dreams have some people other than the person dreaming. Or people, in this case.

Huh. I guess you're right! There still aren't any there, though.
