He can hardly believe it, even when the Giraffe attempts to bleat its excuses. It wasn't my fault, there was another cat, she wanted to help and then I tried but they smelled so good. I'm sorry person, I'm sorry.]

[He runs a hand through his hair and there's a muttered god dammit. This may be the maddest North has been in a while.]

This is a ridiculous request, but, does anyone have anything that can be used as a lock? One that spirits can't open? 

[Trouble is nosing her way in, still trying to apologize.]

[Since she's, you know, a giraffe. Who knows better than to use magic in the house. Trouble is making apologetic noises.]

So did I. It's a little better. She only ate about half, but that could be because she was full after eating the other ones.

[ She doesn't laugh, but North might notice the crinkles at the corner of her eyes, indicating concealed amusement. It really is a serious matter, though. ]

Sounds like she needs a muzzle. Or to be dismissed entirely when you're sleeping.

I suppose so, although she and Cactus don't usually get along.

She's a cat, and a bossy one at that. But usually sensible.

Sensible's not really a word I'd use to describe spirits, personally.

Not usually. But if any are, she can be.

Better that than clothing theft.

Might be worth storing some spare sets of clothing elsewhere, just in case this isn't a bad habit you can cure Trouble from.

I was toying with the idea of caches, but my clothes weren't exactly among the essential items.

I'll have to give that a shot though.

Can keep spares downstairs in the workout area, if you want. Pulled a few spare lockers out of some of the other unused buildings around here, might as well see some use for them.

I'll think about it, but it's starting to sound like a good idea.

But yeah, I'm thinking of just making emergency kits if something happens on one of the worlds. Like it gets disconnected or something.

Just let me know and I'll make sure there's space.

Could be on to something there. For the more hostile worlds, at least.

Yeah, I was just thinking of having some food and blankets and stuff in the safe zones of those worlds. Just in case something happened and you couldn't get back for whatever reason.
