[The video shows an apartment that may be familiar to a couple of people in this world... except part of it is scorched like there was a fire somewhere earlier. Her Pricklemane is standing nearby, a bucket and towel discarded to the side.]
Oi! Doctor!
Tell that spirit of yours, Harkness, to keep his fire spewing self away from my things! I'm not a huge fan of finding my stuff on fire! [The Pricklemane goes off screen, chittering to itself as Donna contemplates the scorched portion of the room as Donna mutters to herself before the video cuts out...]
Teaching it the bad habits of tinkering with things. Hmph. [End video]

Cue a video feed of a sputtering Doctor.
Harkness is strangely MIA.]
I'm sure he thought he was helping.
Smuggest threadjack ever
Your Spirit doesn't have quirks, huh.
>|
Hey. I said he wasn't that unique, compared to yours. Besides, burning things is a completely normal thing for a spirit to do. And useful! [Donna probably didn't need those things anyway. Maybe those things offended Harkness in some way, and this was the only way he could express himself.] How is stealing clothes useful?!
:3
[Fang the Komory Bat lands on Wash's shoulder, looking worried. Wait, he's confused. He thought they were behaving!]
[Carmen, attracted by the fact that she's currently the topic of conversation, leaps up onto Wash's lap and rolls over languidly. He's being sarcastic. Obviously we're perfect.]
I didn't say it was useful, but she doesn't destroy them on contact, either.

[Yup, it did not take long for him to stoop to immature levels in order to "defend" his spirit. Not that he would usually defend Harkness, but this is Wash. So.
Sorry, Donna.]

Good job throwing her under the bus in public.

And to you, Agent Washington, [don't think she hasn't been paying attention to the comms...] you should keep your spirits out of other people's things too. Harkness may have his...issues...but at least it isn't theft! Especially of certain articles of clothing!

[he shudders, slightly.] And very dangerous. He must be one of the lizards, then? -- Oh, and please, call me Soujirou! I don't believe we've met?
no subject
Ok Soujirou. I'm Donna. I'm assuming you're new here?

[That yell had sounded like something a friend would say. But surely there was more than one doctor in the city?
-- Perhaps not more than one who wouldn't give his name, though.]
And I suppose I'll have to be careful about which Spirits I keep! I haven't had too much luck teaching Toshi so far....
no subject
Hmmm. I wonder if it is a 'spirit type' thing...
Toshi? What kind of spirit is he?
no subject
It's just as well! I don't like the idea of my room catching fire while I sleep.

And for the Doctor to stop teaching him bad habits.

I'm fine. Just some of my things got scorched. I'll have to track down new ones at some point.

[She falls quiet for a moment, thinking.] May I ask what was damaged?
