[The video comes at an odd angle, all wild waves of vivid green hair, occasionally rocking nauseously to reveal pale, creamy skin and the flash of dark blue eyes or part of a nervous but friendly smile -- much like the voice that comes over the airwaves.]

I've... never used something like this before, so I hope it's working! [Her laugh comes soft, chiming a few times before dissipating. The screen shakes and a slender hand comes into view, gesturing as she speaks. Slowly her appearance becomes a little more visible; a sideways angle of about two-thirds of her face comes into focus. Though the angle is odd, it's clear that she is an attractive woman and while uncomfortable, she radiates warmth.]

I'm not really sure where I'm going with all of this, I hadn't had much of a plan in mind when I started. [Another soft laugh that implies she's lost in more than one sense of the word. It doesn't reach her eyes, nor does the smile any longer.]

I do have a question, though, if no one minds it. What now?

Of course. But you should give him at least a little time to get used to it.

Absolutely. It wouldn't be very fair of me, if I didn't. We're both going to have to adjust some.

Exactly. And maybe someone will find out how to wake efurryone up.

[sylvan]

I hope so.

Although I wonder how that works? Does no one notice that we're asleep back home?

It's pawsible, I suppose. But it's a purretty big meteor.

[sylvan]

...meteor? [ She doesn't get it in reference to being a planet. To her, that's just an extremely powerful spell. ]

That's where we all live, now.

[sylvan]

On a meteor? Really?

[whoseesbynight]

Mmhmm. It wasn't really the best, but we didn't have a lot of choices either.

[sylvan]

So, you mean back where you come from, then...? [ Maybe it's before it becomes a spell? She didn't really know how it worked. ]

[whoseesbynight]

Mhmmm. Our planet was already destroyed by the time we were looking fur a new place to stay.

[sylvan]

That's... that's awful. I'm so sorry. [ Were her people like the Lunarians...? ]

[whoseesbynight]

It is, but we sort of can't make it not be destroyed.
