[The Keyblade Master is now a gray earth pony with reddish hooves, a black, spiky mane and tail, and a gold Master emblem for a cutie mark. He's still got the facial hair and the scars, too. He looks less shocked about this than one might expect...mostly a little confused as to how quadrupeds are supposed to operate.]

Considering our previous conversation regarding your world, Celestia, I would say in hindsight this adds a certain degree of irony.

The world, yes. The form change, however, does seem to apply in the dream realm, too.

Interesting. I think my more immediate concern is how one typically operates as a quadruped... [Especially since it seems like only the unicorns can use that kind of telekinesis to make up for the lack of thumbs.]

Moving at a running speed, for one... [He can manage walking fine by thinking about it, but running ends in a little more tripping.]

And more importantly, how to lift and manipulate any number of tools and utensils.

I hope your faith in me is rewarded, when that time comes, although I wonder if I might have a harder time of it than others. After all, I have had a much longer time to get used to four legs and two wings than most.

I get the feeling that whether it's for ten years or a hundred, we all get used to how we normally move in pretty short order. I think the same would apply to a new form.

At least, in my case, I hope so.

I couldn't begin to guess there. I suppose just being capable of its use does not denote being a unicorn, then.

I suspect your attitude and leanings, conscious and unconscious, influence the choice. Though I do wonder if anyone else will become an alicorn. It would surprise me, but not unduly so after everything else I've seen...

It's possible. Although I don't know if that would make a difference to normal residents if they're simply born that way.

It is. Does that not also hold true of, for example, possession of a Keyblade?

[Or other examples she could get into from those she'd met here. After everything she'd been through, she could attest that 'special' is simply a matter of degree. Other alicorns might have earned their wings or horns, but she, at least, had just done the right thing at the right time.]

Yes, but I am not sure how that would translate into this world's denotions of "special status." Keyblades enable great magic, but it hardly allows one to move the sun and moon.

[Others might fall more into that category, but it's hard for him to be a judge on that.]

Neither am I. That is why I wonder what, if anything, this transformation would consider equivalent.

Then again, it does take an extraordinary something to become an alicorn, so perhaps the transformation is incapable of reproducing that, even where it might be warranted.
