[The sound and picture briefly cut out.]

-power levels dropping-

[Static.]

[The message dissolves into static again.]

Are you able to sense proximity as well?

I'm sure you've heard about the life support systems. Can you take care of yourself if they fail? [Or at least willing to take that risk?]

I can sense proximity, yes. Though I don't have any equipment that would see me through the life support failing.

Well, it's your call. I mean, your abilities would be really useful, but I don't know how much protection we can offer if the life support does go out.
