Announcement
Hello, and welcome to-
I am sorry, my resources here appear to be limited. I have been authorized to use this network in order to make announcements regarding current events on the Mother of Invention.
Currently, many of my systems remain inoperable. However, I am attempting to make the systems control portions of the ship accessible, and I would appreciate any assistance in bringing the rest of my functions online. I will be opening up a secondary training room shortly in order to provide a route to these vital areas.
Thank you for your help, and have a nice day.

Already wound tight as she was, the sensation of not being properly in control, of not being able to move as freely or quickly as she wanted, served primarily to spark an intense bout of panicked claustrophobia. Chell could not have cared less what had happened to Emile or the others, all she knew was that she needed to get away.
Slowly, too slowly, while the others were distracted, Chell brought the gun down to point at her feet. The portal North had leaped through vanished behind him as she dropped through the newly made one, spat gracelessly back into the hallway they'd all just left. Disoriented and still crawlingly slow, Chell struggled to distance herself from the fog and the sounds of scuffle behind her.]

[Even while the seconds were still ticking away on Chell's mist, Ammy immediately pulled up her canvas and painted another Veil of Mist in the direction she'd heard the growl come from. Purple mist spread out all through the hall, bringing things to a slow crawl.]
[She didn't waste any time. The second the mist started running, she called her canvas again and began searching the hall while time was paused. However, she still couldn't see anything else...even under her canvas, the creature seemed invisible.]
[There was one other thing she could try, though. Ammy began smearing ink wildly all across the canvas, in no particular pattern. If the creature was caught by the mist, and in the path of her ink spread across the hall, then it would get covered in ink and blinded by it.]
[She spread as much ink as she could and resumed time. Knowing she couldn't waste a split second, she hoped that slowing it within seconds of hearing the growl would work in their favor.]

Get back here, you bastard!

Hey! I don't think it's around anymore!
[At least, nothing was showing up on his trackers.]

[But then came that low growl again, this time farther away. She looked back, and saw that Chell had vanished, but that there was another one of those origin mirror holes in the ground. The sound seemed to be coming from there! She stole a glance back at North and Emile. At least they both seemed to be on their feet and moving around.]
[Sure of that, she turned around and sprinted back towards the portal...even if she didn't catch the creature, she had to make sure it didn't do worse to Chell, or at least also finally get Chell to stop. It wouldn't be good for all this chasing to come to nothing but getting hurt again!]
[Even though she knew it was coming this time, she still jumped out of the new portal feeling disoriented. She sprinted up to Chell, certain that the mist had cleared by now, which would resume the normal flow of time.]

FILSS. You getting any of this? Where'd it go?
[The only real place for it to have gone, though, was back through the portal, so he'll be following Ammy back through and trying to see (or, well, detect) anything out of the ordinary.]

Noble Four, catch!
[North lobs a potion at the Spartan.]

It didn't matter. The monster wasn't her concern, or her fight. The others could worry themselves over it to their hearts' content, but she had things she needed to be getting back to.
Hoping to take advantage of their distraction, Chell slunk to her feet, sidling back again to the portal. If she could just get through one last time, she could cut them off and leave them to handle things on their own time.]

[Okay, she couldn't keep using Veil of Mist since it would keep running out, and Chell would keep running. And she didn't want to use Power Slash, since even though she could use it without harming Chell, it would feel like a smack to the back of the head and that may be dangerous with them already dealing with the invisible creature. A tree wouldn't take root here long enough, and wind would do nothing...]
[But by now, she was close enough to Chell to note something important about her strange origin mirror gun: there were large hook-like appendages on the end of it! That, she could work with.]
[Ammy immediately turned back to her two Spirits that had faithfully been keeping pace, (although they looked more than fed up with it), and began barking instructions to her Wheeflower: Konohana! Quick, quick, like we've practiced! Stay here, stay rooted!]
[Konohana did as instructed, rooting to the ground and spreading her petals out wide. Ammy pulled up her canvas once more, and focused her brush on the Wheeflower. As they had practiced, she could see green holy smoke coming off her brush over the flower. She painted a line straight from Konohana to one of the large hooks on the end of Chell's special gun, and the two connected.]
[When time resumed, that painted line turned into a vine that suddenly shot out from the Wheeflower and attached itself to Chell's gun. The vine pulled taut and then snapped back, dragging with it the gun...and anything else attached to it.]
sorry to break order, just figured this made more sense
Again, the how or why didn't reign as the most important, only the fact that she was caught and only action would get her out. There was only one thing to be done for it.
The portal device whipped all the way back on the vine as Chell let go of it, and bolted for the portal still on the wall.]

Looks like she's determined to keep going.

[At least she couldn't do any more of this hopping through walls. Of course, that left her with the weapon itself, still attached to the vine that Konohana had produced. The Spirit looked up at her with confusion, as if asking what to do now. She'd done as asked, right?]
[Ammy nodded, and pulled out a treat to give to Konohana as the vine faded. It wouldn't do good to just leave the gun here, so Ammy carefully picked it up in her teeth by one end, figuring it'd be bad to have it accidentally fire while holding it like this. Once she had a secure enough grip on it, she trotted after Emile and North.]

FILSS? Everything okay on your end? Tell me what I can fix.

I'm going to go look for her.

Let's all go. Ain't safe to split up.
[...considering how much blood is all over his suit, it's an accurate assessment, but Emile seems to be ignoring it.]

She went back about her silent rampage, prying loose and scrambling whatever panels and wires she could get her hands on. Without the portal device, her odds of avoiding the others went down by a lot, but she still knew how to be fast and quiet.]

That's a good point. Thanks.
I'm not really sure where to start looking though. It's a big ship.

[Ammy ran over and nodded towards the portal that was still open, indicating they should go through it after her. Obviously this was the way she'd gotten out, and she couldn't use the gun again now that they had it. Even if she had some distance ahead of them now, Ammy figured she could sniff Chell out well enough. It was easier to distinguish one person's smell against all this uniform machine-smelling stuff, anyway.]

He nodded at the wolf and went through.]
Can you tell which way she went? She accidentally opens an airlock or something and we're all fucked.
