[Bolin is sitting with Ping in his lap. He looks thoughtful but also excited about something.]

So, you know, some of us have been here a pretty long time and it's occurred to me recently that in that time we haven't really had any fun. I mean, sure, the Struggle Tournament was a blast and we've done some fun stuff in small groups, but, I guess what I'm saying is that we should have some kind of party. I mean, look at all the new people that have come here since then and we haven't had any kind of party to celebrate that...and I bet some of us have had birthdays since getting here.

[Pause.]

Although do dream birthdays count?

[He thinks on that for a moment then just shrugs.]

Right...so I'm thinking we all meet in Twilight Town and set up an outdoor party later this week. We'll need food and music and maybe some games or something. And, those of you who have businesses can even get some advertisements going. It'll be great, almost like the street festivals we used to have in Republic City.

Not necessarily! It might be someone else's birthday or...or a welcoming party since we never actually had one of those.

It's...[Bolin's not sure how to explain his grand idea here. So he just sighs and kind of pouts.]...okay yeah I guess it's just a regular party. But there's nothing wrong with a regular party cause it's still a party.

[Another pause, he then asks, perking up.]

You'll come though, right?

[Roxas has to think. He's never really been great at parties, and considering his attitude lately, his social skills haven't been very good either. But Bolin is a friend...]

Yeah, I'll be there.

Do you need help with anything?

[buymedumplings]

[Good answer and even if you had said no he would have gotten you there somehow...so this is just easier.]

Uh, let's see...I think we have everything...but if you wanna be in charge of ice cream that might be good.

Like, get it from the moogles or something?

[buymedumplings]

Unless you know how to make your own.

I'll see what I can do about the moogles.

[The day that happens will be a great day indeed.]

Speaking of food...anything else in particular you like? I got other people handling it, but I think Lea is bringing some spicy stuff just for us. Should I ask him to save some for you too?

That's okay. I prefer sweet stuff, like desserts.

[Mostly ice cream, since he has a one track mind for stuff like that.]

Ah. Yeah, I can see that. Sweets are good. I get to eat them here a lot more than I did back home. It was kind of a luxury then.

[Happy, nostalgic sigh.]

There aren't a lot where you come from?

[buymedumplings]

[He replies nonchalantly.]

Nah, just couldn't afford it. We were lucky if we could get three regular meals, so forget dessert. It was something we reserved for special occasions.

[Roxas nods. Granted, something like that really wasn't anything he had to think about.]

Oh. That must have been tough.

[buymedumplings]

Hmm, yeah. But we still had it better than some and I had Mako with me to make things easier.

Mako? Isn't that your spirit's name?

[buymedumplings]

Mako Jr., yeah, that's my Hebby Repp. I named him after my older brother who is a fire bender. It seemed to fit at the time.

I guess that makes sense, yeah.
