Jail Break! (Action/Video)
[So, with Ziva gone, Fluffy and Abby have been in Wash's care. But, that doesn't mean the behave. They break out at least once a day to try to find Ziva. Why no, she totally didn't teach them how to pick locks. This time is slightly different though.
They brought Ziva's comm with them.
It's currently in Fluffy's possession, and he's in flight somewhere in Traverse Town. Every once in a while, Abby can be seen on the ground in the lens of the comm. They're talking back and forth to each other, mostly Where haven't we looked? and Hey! Over there!.
Then, there's the sound of gunfire off in the distance. Their person had a gun! And it sounded kind of like that sometimes. So, immediate direction change and off they go that way. The comm is tossed down to Abby and she catches it as he lands on her head, taking a break from flying for a moment.
The camera shows a glimpse of someone, in armor...some not-so-blue shade of blue, but not enough to show who it may be. Just...it's not who they were looking for.]

Yeah. They're loyal and they can be affectionate too.
[Somehow, Sora catches that disbelieving look. Bruce is still chattering at the new Spirit. They can be friends, right?]
It was the first world besides my home world that I saw, too. [Directed at him or not, he understands the wariness. The whole situation is kind of weird.] Anywhere in the waking world. But, we're stuck in the sleeping realms.

There's a loud BURP in response to Sora's comment about affection and loyalty. Then the hebby rep resumes consuming more icecream-shaped candy pieces off the floor.
It's not possible to see her face, but clearly, Carolina is just thrilled. Not. Stilfing a sigh, the freelancer turns to regard Sora again, sizing the boy up as he speaks.]
How, exactly, can you tell that you're asleep? [In spite of the fact there's no visible face, the incline of her helmet gives off a definite frown.] And who is responsible for us being here?
no subject
The Spirits all have their quirks. Bruce is eyeing the treats too, but he didn't help kill the Nightmares that dropped them.
It's obvious she's not having fun here. That's nothing new. It really isn't fun to get stuck somewhere with no idea how you got there or why.]
I've been in the realms of sleep before. And the Moogles are making sure to inform everyone about that. [Sora's not been having fun either, though at least it isn't lonely here.] We still don't know, but it's not for lack of trying.
no subject
There's a second burp, before one of the shield shaped cookie-treats are tossed at Bruce by spiked tail. It isn't like the lizard helped kill them either, but he WAS made from the pieces they dropped. A second treat, another icecream cone, is fired at Sora. That's all you're getting, isn't he generous?]
And what, exactly, is a Moogle?
[a faint sigh, though no blame. The kid sounds sincere enough to her ears, and he doesn't really strike her as a threat. Arms fold across her chest out of force of habit.]
no subject
Bruce's favorite treat is the chocolate, but he'll eat any of them really. So he accepts the treat. Sora catches the ice cream, but obviously someone eventually ought to tell the Hebby Rep that people don't eat the treats the Nightmares drop. He gives the treat to Toxy.]
The Moogles are the little white bear critters with bat wings. They've been giving everyone that shows up a carry bag with a communicator, some munny, a potion and the dream bits to make a Dream Eater.
[Though it looks like she might have made the Hebby Rep from bits gathered from recent battles. What was up with the Moogles today? Of course, he has no way of knowing what actually happened...]
no subject
And she doesn't even seem winded.]
...Why would they do that?
[ Genuine puzzlement. Such actions make no sense to Carolina, unable to fathom such generousity in a hostile space. It was too suspicious.
(Never mind that, you know, they..kind of didn't get to follow through there with her, for some *cough* reason *cough*.)]
no subject
I think they're just trying to help since we've all been dragged here against our will.
[Being puzzled at kindness or helpfulness is kind of troubling to Sora. It makes him wonder what they left behind. Then again, maybe he's not puzzled by the situation himself because he's already familiar with the Moogle, though.
(Yeah that kind of complicates things. A little.)]
no subject
You really believe that.
[ For a helmet with no face, Carolina's sure does a good job of projecting her disbelief in a scowly manner. She's lost a great many things, and she's certainly not about to trust some fuzzy bear thing playing zookeeper.
They really don't have anything like moogles back home, and the aliens they've been fighting don't cut it even remotely close. ...Maybe that's why she started shooting?]
And there's no way to leave?
no subject
It's probably all they can do. They're really not fighters and I don't think they're even capable of bringing us here.
[It's actually kind of impressive. Other than that, he supposes he gets the reluctance to trust the Moogles. They're everywhere, after all, and they are fairly opportunistic when it involves business.
How can a small, cute fluffy thing with a cute little pom-pom and slightly endearing verbal tic prompt someone to shoot at it?
Don't answer that.]So far, no. We're trying to find a way, but we really don't have many leads.
no subject
[ Well. That makes things a tad awkward. Someone is going to have one heck of a time managing an apology later. But Carolina will ford that river under the bridge she accidentally burned down later.
She doesn't trust anyone, period. Not even Sora - but she might become less rigid on that later. For now, she resumes staring at him with a wary air; it's lost the scowl, somehow, so it's seems a little less annoyed. ]
How many people are here so far, then? Are there more kids here, like you?
no subject
[Sora will probably only give you a Look if/when he finds out you shot at the Moogle. But won't say anything. Maybe.
That's a shame. Sora's probably the most trustworthy person here. Or one of, at least.
He has to think a moment on the answer to that last question. He hasn't exactly been keeping track of how many are present.] Uh... Twenty or more? I haven't exactly kept track. There are a few here my age. I think everyone else is older, though.
no subject
With patience and persistance, Sora, you'll win her over! It just might take a while. A long while. ..Bring plenty of snacks for while you wait.]
[She does NOT like the idea of kids being caught up in this as well, adults or no adults. Her head shakes slightly.] And have you all been here for the same length of time?
no subject
He has had situations where he wasn't trusted before and he won those over with at little patience (tiny bit) and being his usually dorky, friendly and helpful self.
He'd argue he's not a kid. At least until someone reminded him that fifteen is still a kid. But at least he's capable, if a little derpy.] Some of us have been here longer than others.
no subject
And how long is that in your case? [She's heard all sorts of different dates, and hasn't really trusted much of it at all.]
no subject
no subject
[Guess who does not want to be stuck here three months.]
no subject
[He didn't want to either, but he has been. At least there are people to talk to besides the Moogles.]
no subject
There's silence on her end, before the Hebby Repp nudges her knee. Eyeing it a moment, she withheld a sigh, before turning and tossing Sora what could be considered a rather sketchy salute -- in farewell. There's still plenty of exploration to do on her part. ]
Well. I'll see you around, I guess.
