[Kyoshi has gotten ahold of the communication device. She is holding it up to her face and looks amused by something. Then again, the Kooma Pandas always look amused about something so that's nothing to go on. Still, the large panda turns the screen around and shows off Ping the Meow Wow who is sporting a very nicely made white vest with blue lining and decoration on it.

There's a voice from off screen.]

Hey! Where'd the vest I made for Spot, go?

[Pause and then a shout.]

PING! THAT'S NOT YOURS!

[Ping jumps and bounds off screen, still wearing the vest. Bolin runs into the view of the screen.]

Piiiing! That's for Namine's Meow Wow, not you! I'll make you one soon but give that one back! The blue doesn't even go with your green!

[Ping is apparently not listening and Bolin's eyes widen.]

NO! PING DON'T ROLL AROUND IN IT! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!

[Bolin trips over himself to rush over to Ping and in the mean time Kyoshi is clearly laughing at the antics, the screen bobbing up and down with her shaking paws. After some struggling off camera Bolin returns with a white vest in hand and also takes the communication device away from Kyoshi with a slight frown.]

Sorry about that. Hey, Namine, I have your vest ready for Spot if you want to stop by and pick it up at the shop. Despite what you, uhm, might have seen, Ping did not mess it up or anything. I think I'm going to have to make him one now too though since he helped me get the sizing right.

Bolin? Are you okay?

[Bolin is shaking the vest out and Ping rolls around in the background, clearly in some kind of morning over the loss of his vest. He looks to the comm.]

Huh? Yeah, why wouldn't I be?

[He bounces back quickly from setbacks, what can I say?]

You were just fighting with your spirit. I know it's a Meow Wow, but it can still hurt.

[Blinks. Bolin looks over to Ping.]

Oh.

[Ping sits back on his hind legs and makes the most pathetic face ever.]

Awww Ping, I'm sorry, do you want a vest too little guy?

[Ping yips happily sitting forward and his little butt wagging.]

Okay, I'll make you one of your own, but this one is for Namine, okay?

Did you have to wrestle it off him?

Well...we play like that a lot. He's okay with it.

If you say so. It seems like a weird game to play. Bouncer and I just play fetch and stuff.

I'm starting to see a pattern in how the Dream Eaters treat these devices.

[Celestia laughs softly.]

I admit I hadn't thought they'd take well to clothing, though.

I think they see them as toys or maybe they just like to interact with people as much as anyone else.

[That's his theory anyway. Usually he lets his dream eaters hold the comm device anyway since it's usually easier than trying to figure out the angles himself.]

They seem to like it, for the most part. I've been trying to figure out what actually works for them. Are you interested in something for yours?

[Celestia supports her own device by magic -- which, when one notices her own Komory Bat flying in wild circles in the background, seems to make a lot more sense than the alternative.]

I'm not certain anything I put on him would last long enough to be worth the effort. Perhaps if I earn the company of a more... sedate companion.

Maybe. I will admit the wear and tear of the clothes is a little worrying to me but patch jobs aren't that difficult.

I imagine that they'd be necessary often, if the spirits are to aid us in combat with the Nightmares.

Hey, have you worked out anything for the bats yet? Stars seems pretty excited about the clothes thing.

[Stars chitters excitedly, swooping around Lea's head.]

No, but only because I don't have my own Komory bat to work with. They don't...have a lot of appendages you can put clothes on, but maybe a hat or some kind of ear decorations.

[Bolin looks thoughtfully at Star as they flutter around Lea's head. He then nods.]

We could always meet up and I can use Star as a model to try some ideas out.

I can bring her by sometime. When's good for you?

[A cute hat or something might work. Stars can be the most fashionable bat in town.]

I'm done working at the potion shop in the evening. That could work.

I'll catch you then.

[This is working out pretty well.]

[Spot's face fills the screen at first as he yips a warning at Ping. His vest had better not be messed up because of that!

Finally, Namine pushes him aside and smiles at Bolin.]

I'm sure it's fine. Thanks for making it, and thanks to Ping for helping. Would this afternoon be a good time for me to pick it up?

[Bolin is giving it a close inspection but it seems to be in order.]

No problem. It looks like Spot is already the envy of other Dream Eaters.

This afternoon is fine!

[Yay, it still looks nice. Spot is a happy Meow Wow. At the mention of other Spirits' envy, he can't help preening a bit. Yup, trendsetter, that's him.]

I think he'll enjoy that. At least this might help you find some others who want clothes made for their Spirits.

I might first have to take care of my own first. Ping got a little too attached to the vest I think.

[He nods. Seriously, it wasn't a problem and kind of fun.]

He was a very good model, I'm sure, but I think there's colors that go better with his.
