[Theta's turned the communicator on again. He's got some stuff on his mind, and he decided to wait until North was asleep to deal with it, though he'll be telling him about it later.

However, it's hard question to ask, so he's dithering about it. And the best way he knows how is to work on another hologram.

There's a holographic Meow Wow bouncing around on the screen. It's a bit rough, but overall pretty satisfactory. He's pretty proud of it.]

[Theta waves, still looking unsure.]

Hi Gamma. Uh...I was wondering...what's the last thing you remember, before you got here?

[knock_knock]

[Theres an short but audible pause while Gamma thinks of the easiest way to say this one.]

The Director stopped Agnts Texas and Carolina from sparring.

[And another small pause.]
Do you not remember that?

I do. That's what happened right before North and I got here.

[So Gamma wouldn't know anything. But maybe Theta could gain an ally.]

York said it got pretty bad after that.

[knock_knock]

York told you? I wasn't aware he's here.
[Thats a lie, he's aware since he's seen him around on the network. Just Wyoming hasn't talked to him yet.

But that one lie doesn't hurt anybody...]

[As far as Theta knows, it's the truth.]

Yeah, he and Delta are here.

He doesn't really want to tell me anything though.

It could be nothing.
[Lie. But this one's meant positively.]

But then he wouldn't really have to hide anything.

True. Or perhaps he's attempting to avoid a paradox.
[Considering who's talking about paradoxes here he's aware that telling wouldn't exactly do that but maybe Theta doesn't realize that?]

Maybe. But it's not like we've done anything yet, and we already know what happens.

[knock_knock]

[A pause. He wants to know what happens but he knows that the info on what they know will be passed on and he'd rather come out looking like he knows more than he does.]
Does he know you know?

Yeah. York and Delta told us everything when we got here.

[Theta goes quiet again, and dims. It's still pretty difficult for him to take and he doesn't want to cause North any more anxiety than he is already.]
