[The communicator turns on, revealing the ground of the first district and a Blitzball bouncing back at the feet of a Hebby Repp. The dream eater peers at it curiously, and makes something akin to a sneeze. The view messes up and Tidus can be heard.]

No, that's not how you're supposed to do it!

[He walks over to his Dream Eater and scoops up the ball so that it isn't set on fire.]

Look...you, it's okay, you're new to the sport. But just because we're asleep, or I'm asleep, doesn't mean I can slack off. Now that there's a beach available, there's no excuse not to practice. We'll keep going over it until you get it right. Don't worry, we can do this for hours. Let's try again.

[He kicks the ball again, but his dream eater ignores it and spins around. Tidus sighs and chases after him to grab the ball, pausing when he lifts up his wrist.]

This is on?

[He looks surprised, but shrugs, becoming slightly more hesitant over something.]

Since it's already on, uh, Yuna. Do you wanna check out that other world sometime? There's a beach, and it's sunset there...I haven't looked at it yet, since we aren't supposed to split up and all, but I thought it might be something to do.

[He trails off and smiles casually, before he quickly turns his communicator off.]

[her answer has him beaming, and he nods, fidgetting just a little.] I'll see you in a few.

gathering her things together as quickly as she could, she picked up her staff last before heading out the door. there, she waited, unable to hold still from her own excitement. a new place to see... an otherworld! it sounded wonderful...
practically bouncing on her heels, she looked off into the distance, waiting for the first glimpse of her guardian )

[they might have been going for fun, or...not fighting, but Tidus brought his sword anyway, just in case, along with whatever else was needed. he was excited too. excited, and something else he couldn't quite place. he tried to appear more casual than he felt, but couldn't quite stop from moving animatedly when he saw her.]

Yes! ( there's a curt nod as she smiles -- ) Um. But... how exactly... do we get there, do you think?

[he appears to be thinking hard for a second.] I think it has to do with that thing that happened in the second district. I think that's how we get there? [Which seems strange to him, but he doesn't exactly understand traveling between worlds, so he shrugs that thought off.]

Well then, let's try that! ( there's another nod as though to signify she's decided ) Come on! ( and she takes off, feeling lighter than she has since arriving -- ) Last one there is the loser!

[he doesn't miss a beat as he runs after her, exhilirated and beaming.] You're on!

( she's laughing as she sprints on, her komory bat doing loop-de-loops as he flies after her, mirroring her carefree mood.
she care hear tidus catching up easily, but that doesn't stop her from running on! )
