[With all the strangeness that happened during the 4th wall shenanigans, Minnie hadn't been able to properly introduce herself to this community. That simply wouldn't do! So today, with her Meow Wow constantly bouncing behind her, as they tend to do, she holds up the device in her hands, hoping she's using it correctly. Technology was more of her husband's specialty.]

Greetings, one and all. I'd like to thank you for your very warm and generous hospitality, and to formally introduce myself to those I haven't met yet. I am Queen Minnie Mouse, ruler of the Disney Kingdom. It is a pleasure to meet all of you. I'm... still confused about a few things here, but many of you have been very kind to inform me about what's going on.

So I would like all of us to work together, and become very good friends! The bonds of friendship are the strongest thing in every world!

[This world never fails to impress or confuse, but all of Celestia's diplomatic instincts snap into action immediately. She delivers a bow to the communicator, head low and wings spread, and her voice is practically the definition of calm serenity.]

Well met, Queen Minnie Mouse. I am Princess Celestia, and my sister and I rule the land of Equestria. Welcome to the sleeping worlds.

[She smiles brightly, able to put two and two together, thanks to an earlier conversation.]

So you must be Luna's sister! She's a lovely young lady. She said she was the ruler of the night... so I suppose that makes you ruler of the day?

[Celestia's smile is a mixture of sincere delight that somepony regards her sister well, and sincere amusement that anypony could call Luna a young lady... though she does act the part.]

Just so. She raises the moon each night, as I raise the sun each day, and she safeguards the dreams of Equestria as I safeguard its waking moments.

[Well, when you're an immortal ageless toon, everyone's young. Minnie looks quite intrigued by Celestia's explanation... and it does explain some of Luna's odder comments.]

That's amazing! I've never heard of anything like it. I almost feel lazy, not ruling over my people over the night.

[She giggles, clearly kidding.]

[Royal ponies... and now a royal mouse. Jeeves wonders why they can't have any human rulers turn up here. The... woman also seems to be aligned with the ponies on her optimism in the power of simple camaraderie to with the day.

In spite of these thoughts, when Jeeves activates his communicator for a response, he bows his head respectfully to Minnie.]

Your Majesty, it is an honor to meet you. My name is Jeeves. I am a valet hailing from the Kingdom of Great Britain on Earth. If you sill have questions on our circumstances within the Realm of Dreams, please only ask. I shall do my utmost best to answer.

[Gaaaaaasp!]

Oh my gosh! When the portals open back up, you should TOTALLY come to Ponyville and see our Elements of Harmony! They're like friendship with rainbow lasers!

[... what]

It's a pleasure to meet you, Jeeves. Let's see, any other questions...

This might sound redundant, but how long do people usually stay asleep here?

[Celestia laughs in turn, warm like sunlight.] It's too much for just one person. Besides, we are told that most worlds are not like Equestria. Day and night simply happen, as do the weather and the seasons, without needing a pony's guiding hoof.

[She nods...]

Yes, that's how things are in my world. But I'm not surprised... every world is so beautiful in their differences. If they were all the same, it would be very boring.

I hope you will have the chance to experience the other worlds, while you are here. Normally we would be able to travel to three others from Traverse Town -- Twilight Town, the Mother of Invention, and Ponyville. But the portal to those sleeping worlds has not been working, at the same time as all the new dreamers arrived...

Well, yes, that would be nice...

[But she hesitates.]

... It's just so odd that this is so common, even in dreams. It was supposed to be a rule that people shouldn't know other worlds exist.

An understandable rule. But whatever is responsible for us being here either did not know, or did not care.

We may, however, not remember this when we awaken.

[Another pause.]

Actually, we have a fairly good chance of remembering.

[She's knowing just a smidgen more than she's letting on, but she's simply trying to decide what's right to say.]

I would not be surprised, but at present...

My sister entered the dream world at a far earlier point in time than I did. And yet at no point did she ever seem to disappear in our world. That means that she must have left it almost immediately after she exited it, as if no time had passed in Equestria proper.

What we do not know is if she remembered nothing, or simply did not speak of it to me, knowing that I would eventually fall into dreams here in turn.

[Oh, dear. In that case, Minnie feels compelled to tell more of the truth, since it's affecting someone Celestia clearly cares about it.]

... I've known people who went to the Realm of Dreams, and returned with their memories intact. But... that situation and this one are entirely different. I can't say for certain... Oh, dear, this is all so confusing.

My sister is, I have no doubt, the most skilled and capable wielder of dream magics in this history of ponykind. If she does not remember, there is no telling. But as I said, she might very well have kept silent to preserve the circle.

It doesn't matter, though, does it? Even if we were to lose our memory of this place on awaking, it still would have happened, and left its marks.

[She sighs a bit, but nods in agreement.]

Yes, that's definitely true. We'd all still be friends, and nothing can ever erase those precious bonds. They always lead you back to one another.

I regret that there is no 'usual' answer to that question, madam. From what I have seen in the communications archives, dreamers may remain within this realm for as little as a week or as long as the events that first brought us here began several months ago.

We have seen evidence that no time passes in the waking world while we are here, though, if that might be a concern.

Oh well, I thought it was worth a try. But if that means no one in my kingdom will worry about me, that is a relief. I'll already do plenty of worrying about them, time or not.

The subjects one rules over certainly seem an understandable group in which to place your concerns, madam. Might I ask: Are all of your subjects mice, such as yourself in Disney Kingdom?

Oh no, we have all types! Ducks and chipmunks and dogs and horses and cows...

[More talking animals. He'd really hoped the ponies, the wolf, the fox, and the other minor assortment or more fantastic creatures might be it.]

And you have become acquainted with humans through your interactions with ones from other worlds, madam? [He's paying attention to some of her other conversations in between their responses.] I wonder, perhaps, if the persons you might have referred to as coming to this realm and returning with their memories intact might be Master Sora and Master Riku? They are present here at the moment. Master Riku appears to be from a time before he entered the Realm of Dreams, though.

I've known humans before I knew those boys... but yes! Those two are very dear to me. They've saved my family, and so many others. They are true heroes!

Totally! But the kind that make friends, not the burny kind! Those're only in comic books!
