9th Key... Smash?
[Once again, we open with Bruce's fuzzy face filling the screen. Toxy can be heard in the background, trying not to be too loud. Any Spirits will know that Toxy is suggesting to Bruce that he leave the communicator alone. Bruce only squeaks back that that's no fun. When he sees that it's on, he squeaks again and the view shifts as he picks it up and flies up.
They're in Sora's room and the bird's eye view shows Sora, on his bed. It looks like he's fallen asleep working on something, if the notebook and the fact that he's not in pajamas are any indications. He's wearing his regular shirt and pants, with jacket any other accessories left off elsewhere. It's hard to see what's written on the notebook and just as hard to figure out why Bruce felt the need to mess with the communicator again. Sora seems to be sleeping peacefully... at least until things go wrong.
Bruce squeaks as he loses his grip on the communicator and the view spins wildly as the device tumbles down to smack Sora in the face, bouncing off and coming to rest on the bed as he jumps up, startled, half-asleep yet and assuming an attack. We're treated to a sideways view of him looking around before it dawns on him that it's just him and his Spirits in the room.
Bruce lands on the bed and turns the communicator off just as Sora realizes it's not where he left it.]

Hey!

[Offscreen, Bruce can be heard pitching a fit at that observation.]
Who has the jerk Komory Bat? I'm assuming yours is the crazy one.
Re: [video]
[The offscreen tirade gets a little louder. Sora just shakes his head and laughs.]
Never a dull moment, at least.
Anyway, I'm Chris.

[Someone is trying hard not to laugh at you, but Stars is clearly watching this in the background; maybe Lea won't be smug for long.]

Sora's just going to... let him be surprised when his own bat starts making an ass of him.]
This is the third time he's turned it on and recorded me, but it's the first time he's dropped in on me.
[He rubs a little at his face where the device hit him. That's probably going to bruise.]

[Now that he's let Sora know he's seen him, he can afford to be curious about what's up.]

I'm putting together some information on Dream Eaters. We have a basic guide for general care of the Spirits, but not much about the different types of Dream Eaters or how their dispositions affect the way the Spirits fight.

[Although he's mildly concerned that he doesn't have all the information. The recent battle with Hockomonkey is a good example.]
no subject
You've been a busy boy; where do you even find the time?
[not that there's actually a lot to do here, but people seem to keep busy anyway, somehow.]
no subject
[No there really isn't a lot to do besides fighting with Nightmares and trying to find some clues. Now that Sora thinks of it, that might be one of the reasons he's been able to keep his focus on this project. When he'd first thought of it, he'd ended up thinking of it like a school project and had almost quit on in right then...]

There's a few places around to stay. The hotel's nice enough, but there's probably less expensive options. A few people have gotten apartments.
[And then there was Bolin making a tent for himself out of rock. Sora had to admit that seemed like a handy ability, but really, there were probably better arrangements. At least Traverse Town didn't seem to have any real whether changes, if temperature or otherwise.]

[Especially if they were still upset about Castle Oblivion.]
no subject
[Yeah, speaking of Castle Oblivion, they'd just discussed that recently. Sora's pretty sure they'd really only encounter problems if a certain pair showed up, but they probably wouldn't last long if they did.]

[Sometimes with extensive memory manipulation. Not this time, he'd bet; she'd perfected the art of standing around and looking adorable.]
no subject
[Yes, but that hadn't been by choice. And it definitely wasn't what she was doing this time. Being cute and friendly seemed to be working out a lot better for her.]

[Yes, this is Sora acting like a kicked puppy. To make matters worse, they both disappeared around the same time. He should be happy, since it would mean they were able to wake up, but for all he knew, they could have ended up in another bad situation...]
no subject
[He'd be crushed if Roxas or Xion disappeared; he can imagine how tough it must be for Sora.]
I'm here if you want someone to hang out with.
no subject
He does appreciate that sentiment and it brings a small smile.]
That sounds like an idea.

Gotta keep busy while we look for a way out, right? Maybe you can teach me some of your cool keyblade things.
no subject
[At the suggestion of teaching, Sora pauses. He's not sure what all he could teach Lea about the Keyblade. On the other hand, the phrase 'cool keyblade things' kind of suggests he's not looking for a serious lesson. Sora's probably the last person to go to for a really serious lesson in anything anyway (save maybe cooking), though he does realize that one of the things Lea needs is to get used to a different weapon type from what he's been using so far. Muscle memory can be troublesome sometimes. The best answer for that is sparring, which is easy enough.]
That might be a good idea.

[Sora wonders if Roxas considered the place he had in the fake town, but at the same time he can understand if Roxas doesn't want to go there. It shouldn't stop him from getting some place, though.
Now Sora's concerned though. He hasn't been keeping tabs on Roxas because he's pretty sure he'd rather have his space, so he has no clue what Roxas has done about his housing situation. He's going to feel bad when he finds out the poor guy's been sleeping in the usual spot...]
Do you know where he's staying?

[Though, given that there is some furniture in there, it's not too bad. At least, it's better than camping out in a little tunnel running between two districts in Traverse Town... *coughVencough* Still...]
Think we could talk him into getting an apartment? I mean, I know he had a place in the fake town, but I can't say I blame him if he doesn't want to see if it's there.
I can believe that. He didn't have any memories to start with.

[It was great to be somewhere with lots of friends. Maybe this being trapped in an eerie dreamland with no hope of escape wasn't so bad.]

[What even are your thought processes, Lea?]
no subject
Great. We'll have to meet up soon.
no subject
Yeah.
