[Well this..sure was a thing. The room was dark, very dark than usual. Though being in Traverse Town it's not too much of a surprise. It's just that his coat generally helped resolving that. But no, not today, err...tonight to be more exact. Emizel tried sleeping, but now he wasn't. Instead he was huddled at the foot of the bed. Sooomething was amiss if he was being this upset, this stressed.]

[This certainly was not the first time Emizel worried about this, oh nooo. It really kind of scared him; especially being the only demon, and not even close to the right candidate for it. However that concern all eventually went away before. After all, it does seem impossible(and silly) for a demon to simply die in a dream world from a lack of fear, and after spending enough time here it's proving to be the opposite anyway. But maybe, what if, he has lax a little too much? Getting way too soft? He might be safe right now, but what about later? What's going to happen if they do conquer whatever darkness is responsible for this? What will happen to him?]

[Dammit, he was just starting to get attached to some of the people here. Now it might all be a bad, terrible thing. Sure camaraderie speeches were totally Valvatorez's thing, but this...this was kinda different. Or at least, this was different, right? Oh man, what is he supposed to even do?]

[This might be easier to think through if Moxie would stop whining at him, though.] ....Go away. [That undertone of aggression reeeaaally did not mean to be there. But at the same time, couldn't really be helped.]

[Even's not sleeping either, for not entirely dissimilar reasons. And he's always glad to be distracted from his thoughts (is this their fault? are they the problem? is it all going to happen again?) by someone else's technological incompetence.]

It's only me. [He sighs and jostles the communicator so it's clear he's in his lab.] I take it you're having trouble sleeping as well? [Not that Even's ever been much of a sleeper, but he's rarely been so motivated to stay awake.]

It's a common ailment, I expect. The dreams are intrusive, to say the least. You'd think they could at least be specific.

I'm not sure how to quantify the "badness" of dreams. They are, as I said, intrusive, and the most obvious implications continue to be deeply disturbing.

[He looks past the communicator at nothing in particular.] What could destabilize a Sleeping World still further?

We're - someone is supposed to be, perhaps, but I see no reason to believe they are succeeding. How is success being measured? We don't even know what the situation is, not in any helpful amount of detail!

[Roxas is up as well. While the dream hadn't really crossed into nightmare territory, he'd become a light enough sleeper that it still woke him up, and then he was stuck with stuff that he didn't really want to think about. Stuff he needed Lea for, except that Lea wasn't around anymore.]

Barkley's face appears briefly on the screen. Hi Moxie~ His Person is a bit moody herself these days, but maybe to moody people can help each other feel better.

Once Barkley has settled down, Xion offers Moxie a smile, then turns her attention to Emi.]
